I thought mcminn was a good team when I saw them at cleveland a couple weeks ago Eventhough they lost. They execute that wing t to perfection. I told a buddy that they will have a chance to win that region. Congrats Cherokees
Long time Rhea fans. Greg Hyatte an ex eagle that played in the late 90s passed away last night from a brain aneurysm. Long time childhood friend is mine and ex teammate at cleveland before transferring to Rhea. Pray for his family and his 5 kids.
I thought it was going to bite us in the butt against mcminn. We scored 3 Tds in the first half and missed all 3 conversions. And we were up 18-10 but def played great.
The Blueraiders make the 7 mile trek to the north end of the county. Cleveland has showed how explosive their offense can be and the defensive improved tremendously against mcminn. Walker Valley comes in 2-0 with alot of momentum. Both easy blowout wins vs Notre Dame and Polk Co whom are very small schools. On paper cleveland should win this game easily but we all know in these rival games anything can happen. WV will be motivated and will fight. I say Cleveland wins 42-20
Bradley isn’t very good up front on either side of the ball and that’s their weakness. If Maryville had Ladue, I’d like their chances more of being able to grind the game out and keep the ball away from Bradley. Without Ladue that could be tough.
In high school I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a targeting call. I’m just saying if we are trying to make sport more safe then it needs to be done in high school too. Not only to the head but the cheap shots to the knees could be potentially career ending as well.
I think any tackle that’s done below the knee needs to be unsportsmanlike. Same thing happened with the Bradley RB last week against mcminn as he was going into the end zone. Its dirty and uncalled for
Mcminns lone TD was on a 60 yarder as the half expired. Cleveland let their guard down. Looks lik Cash Bandy got hurt pretty bad for cleveland I hope i wrong. but one of mcminns players hit him low and his knee buckled
So far man he’s way ahead of what I expected him to implement especially with transfers in only year 1. It’s honestly a sweet deal on what cleveland gave him. No teaching at all and everything football from K-12. Same offense from k-12 and ppl are already buying in
I’m not saying Cagle isn’t a good coach. I’m saying sometimes programs need change for the better of the future. A different football mind, a different excitement for the fans.
Part of being a great coach is is making adjustments based on your personnel. With Cagle being an old school wing T guy, u gotta find a way to mix it up. Mcminn has had some tough teams under him but has the game passed his style up?
