They sit 3-3 right now with some close losses. They only have 2 seniors that play. They return good amount of talent next year and a good coaching staff. Whitwell will get 6-7 wins this year. Next year they could be a very good football team.

Man Casey Tate, players leaving the program due to it being unstable and now we are accusing programs of stealing players. Nice way to deflect some attention away from oneself to keep your job.

I agree. People thinking Whitwell will get mercy ruled by halftime ?? That's just crazy to me. This is the best coaching staff Whitwell has had in a long time. They will have the kids ready to play. Whitwell will be in this game. Sequatchie may pull away late but this will be closer then what people think. SP left 21 points on the field against Sequatchie. That game could have easily went the other way. Sequatchie is a good team but Whitwell is better a better football team then last year. Coaches will have them ready ! Go big Red!

Jackets86, Whitwell will compete better with Sequatchie than that. Someone sounds a little bitter that Grundy didn't beat the ole little pitiful tigers like you thought. Whitwell is better than that and Grundy is a little better then you give them credit for.

Whitwell is better than last year. They are a young group but they are way better coached this year. Whitwell will use lots of different formations offensively unlike last year. I think they can keep it close for a half. The coaches will have them ready!

Calm down Casey. Grundy is better than last year. Still have a young football team out in Grundy and they will get better. Whitwell is better then what you think and Grundy played them tough for a half.

I hope so. We are a very young football team and it showed against Grundy. I believe in our coaching staff that they can keep it close and give us a chance to win. Future is bright for Whitwell!

Whitwell is improved. They will play hard but Sequatchie has the better team. Whitwell still has a lot to clean up and isn't very good with the forward pass yet, although they did score on a passing TD! Sequatchie will win this game but Tigers will play them hard and keep it close for a half.

Jackets86, idk what game you watched but the only reason it was close for a half was due to 2 turnovers by Whitwell. Grundy had 7 total to Whitwell 2. Tate and company got out coached again. Tigers will be just fine. Grundy scored on a KO return and on the backups, if not for that they would have been shutout.

You can have growin pains and still win ball games. This is the best staff whitwell has had in a long long time. They will have Whitwell ready to play. Grundy is better than last year, but I still think Whitwell wins this game by 14 or more points.

Like I said,is that you Casey Tate? Whitwell is not slightly better than Moore. If you watched the scrimmage film, then you seen Whitwell move up and down the field on them doing whatever they wanted. Whitwell will win this game.

Whitwell started 1 senior on offense and return everyone on defense next year. Whitwell is more talented overall than last year. You add in the forward pass and this Whitwell team is better than last year. Coaching 100 percent makes a difference . Like I said, we have the best coaching staff Whitwell has had in a long time.

Whitwell should just forfeit the season then. Whitwell is better than last year but will have a worse record. Something doesn't add up.

Shrum ran. Great kid. Plays TE/DE. Petty our best back didn't play. He is a threat to score each time he touches it. I just hope our staff stays together. Whitwell has a hard time keeping coaches. I think Malone will give us a couple good years.Hopefully we can keep Coach Boldin and Coach Coley around. Both are great coaches. I think Coley looks better in red than that purple.

I was just glad to see Whitwell compete. This coaching staff is best we have had in a long time. They have the tigers going in the right direction. Not to mention only 2 seniors were playing! future looks good!
