All the kids playing sports love it, but what really impressed me when the lady was afraid to transfer her boy there because he didn’t play sports. She was afraid players had better treatment. After 10 min she said her mind was made up. I’ve had two people I care for speak very highly about the guidance counselor . I don’t know if it’s man or woman only that they truly care what’s best for the kids.

The first thing the parents said when they were at south Pitt is the whoever the Guidance counselor is was a rockstar. A lady told me grundy has 2 and they never helped with picking classes and didn’t check GPA’s to see if kids needed honors classes. The south Pitt guidance counselor helped so much and actually cared about the kid she was blown away. I could care less if the pirates were a power house because who wouldn’t want their kid to get that kind of attention and actually cares about the kids. That’s why I’ve been so impressed with your school

If Grundy cares at all about the kids they would hire Darrell Graham and Nick Meeks. The kids love those guys and if you don’t like Darrell Graham then something is wrong, because those kids will always come first and he Won’t call them names like Casey did when he called my son a word I’d be banned from this website if I said it here.

The way they’ve been treated you would be surprised. They were about to be changed with trespassing and facing suspension for something they weren’t even there. But they were the day before when they changed and left according to the principle that watched the camera footage, but didn’t know the kids were going up there and one further saying they broke in. I’m the bad guy now for calling the principal a few choice words and liar being one of them. Nick Meeks and Brandon Brown are the only reason it’s been dropped.

They ask me last night did I think they were good enough to start on pirates team. I’m their father I’d pull for them in anything they do. I told him I can’t imagine why anyone would not want a kid who gets up at 5a.m to run and workout and again after practice while both are keeping 98 averages.

If anyone in Dunlap knows who #1 on the team is would you please tell him thank you from Ethan and Evans father. Me and the boys were talking last night and Ethan told me the kid reached out to check on him and tell him good game. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out this kid is product of good coaching and better parenting. So thank you!

This is off subject, last night me and the boys were talking and Ethan said Dad when our season ends I wanna go wherever and watch South Pitt play and hopefully the championship game, but we gotta watch Whitwell also so we can be there for Wingo. I thought It was worth mentioning because some people act like the ones who transferred were bad people for wanting more for their kids, and the boys wish they were still there, but understands why they’re not and hopes they get the opportunity they’re not.

Me and my parents talked to him after the game last year. Very respectful and the kids coming out of the locker room helped my mother carry something to her car. Class act all the way, and it showed that the coach and parents are definitely teaching them to be outstanding young men

If it wasn’t the boys last game with all the distractions I would. I’ve watched South Pitt 3 games this year and I’m sure come playoff time I’ll be there.

I agree! Who’s Uppermans coach? He’s a good one that’s for sure. Last week we were checking on sending my boys to Upperman. I’ve had family graduate from there and they loved it.

I thought the Indians had only one loss in district to York? That was a surprise when I saw the score on that game. I knew York was tough, but I didn’t see that one.

The hardest part about this week is keeping South Pitt interested. Banged up players can get a break and most importantly the back ups can get some good playing time in before the Pirates start their championship run. Good luck Sanders and Lawson. The Nunley’s are pulling for you.
