and virtually our whole line, who are going to be very strong and athletic. Gonna be easy for any back to run behind
-
Seems like those 2 never have a down year
-
You don't get any better playing Unaka
-
Don't see them getting through HV. Their line is gonna be hard to handle this year, big, strong and athletic. I heard one of your projected starters for next year just transferred to Hv also. Cant remember the name but he was a linemen
-
HV returns their whole line and all their receivers, more like a size 10.
-
They lose a whole back field, but have some pretty good back ups that got a lot of playing time last year. Sams will be tough to handle, and have a very strong line. Only lost 1 starting linemen
-
Hampton will make 2nd round at best
-
HV and Hampton both lose a lot of talent, but I still see them battling for the top spot and both making a nice playoff run if they work hard in the offseason. Im not sure what North loses but I think they lose quite a bit to graduation this year. Regardless those are your top 3 teams in Reigon 1

AE did a really good job of containing him it was hard for him to find those open lanes. And usually when it is one on one he's good at making people miss, it was a lot harder for him to do that against them. A few of the times that he got loose would have been tds against most people but they did a really good job closing on him. AE did have a lot of trouble with our run game it seemed like but we had 2 big power backs running at them. I thought they got tired on the defensive front and that's when hv started pounding away. Morefield did a great job getting to Harper and if he gets those big paws on u its hard to get away. I am sure glad to have him back next year. He gets back in the weight room with Bowling this offseason and he will be a force next year

The defense stiffened quite a few times to keep him from running -
yea they wouldn't have done that if you all could have jones back there, a lot of what ifs, but I really do believe its a much different game. He was one of the better defenders you had also. That's the thing about small schools around here one of your "studs" go out its like losing 2 or 3 honestly. Changes your whole scheme. The way AE throws the ball they will have to stay honest on defense. Harper gets it out quick. He caught us in a blitz and checked out of it and dumped it to his TE wide open. I see a very interesting matchup.

They did have a hard time stopping that offense. Walters looked really good, but with jones in the game u all could have matched their offense. There was one play im sure u remember, he could barely walk got pressured from both sides stepped up in the pocket and threw a beautiful ball to a kid right down the middle for a TD. he stays healthy I believe that score is ALOT closer. Yea hicks is definitely one of a kind, you don't get many that come around like that,

Thank you Pujo. I watched MC against Hampton last year and they were all over the field. It helped them being able to stop Hampton offense having Jones go down early, but watching them against trez they looked pretty dang good too. I haven't seen them this year, so I cant really say how good they are. I know that the kirkendoll kid is a stud, but I personally don't know that he is any better than hicks was this year. Maybe I am a little biased but I feel they are pretty equal. I would like to see AE get by Marion and they definitely have the ability to do it

I don't have a problem "accepting" the fact they lost. They played a good football team and had many opportunities to win the game, and they very well could have. Limiting AE to 20 points after they scored 74 the week before is pretty dang good if you ask me. You win the game get over it, no need to gloat and act like your something special. Good job AE -

And those points were very hard to come by! AE is a great fb team, I think HV showed they definitely deserved to be there. Incredible defense all year. Barely 100 points scored on them in 13 games
