  1. Talked to a Station Camp supporter yesterday and he says Gallatin’s problem is of the 2 middle schools that feed them one is pretty good and the other has won like 2 games in the last 5 years. He says Beech, Hendersonville, and Station Camp are getting better talent from their feeder schools. Don’t know a lot about the county but if you are getting lesser talent difficult to overcome that.
  2. Be careful thegreatone36. You are going to tear an ACL jumping on and off the bandwagon. Prediction now, Wave still win the region with either a 6-4 or 7-3 record. Only tough games left are Beech and Hendersonville and I think you have a good chance of winning both.
  3. Picks, winner in bold Mount Juliet at Gallatin Hendersonville at Beech Station Camp at Springfield Wilson Central at Overton Lebanon at Lavergne
  4. Picks this week (winner in bold) Mount Juliet vs Lebanon Beech vs Glencliff Gallatin vs Hillsboro Rossview vs Wilson Central Station Camp vs Hendersonville
  5. Mount Juliet wins comfortably, will be 1 of 2 games in the regular season where the starters have to play in the 2nd half. The Bears opponents are 7-13 so far this year. The cream puff schedule continues. The next 3 opponents after this week are a combined 1-5.
  6. Surprised that Hendersonville won by that much, Centennial must have had an off night. Probably still in shock from last week. Also surprised Beech lost and Lebanon really struggled with MCGavock.
  7. They still will finish no worse than 3rd in their region and I believe they can beat Beech and Hillsboro. The Burros have not been been impressive in either game this year and the Wave get them at home. The region they will be paired up against in the 1st round is really weak so they are not done yet.
  8. Mt Juliet faces Overton next (1-9 last year) after beating Glencliff (1-9 last year). I hear they are going to get RBS along with several charter schools on the schedule for next year.
  9. Blaze45 is a nice guy. He knows Blackman wins big Friday night but doesn’t want to rub it in. Agree TC and Lebanon will be a close one. I expect TC to get to Cookeville regardless of Friday night.
  10. Picks for week 1 Wilson Central 21 Beech 17 The Bucs have not played well in the preseason, Wildcats win Mount Juliet 56 Glencliff 0 The Bears start their creampuff schedule Station Camp 21 Antioch 14 Flipped a coin on this one, don’t know much about either team Gallatin 42 Springfield 35 Wave win in a shoot out, both teams will have a good year Lebanon 24 Trousdale County 21 Start of a big year for the Devils Blackman 45 Hendersonville 17 This one will be over early, Blaze are loaded
  11. Agreed you will be better, you might want to pump the brakes. Franklin County went 5-5 last year and didn’t make the playoffs playing in a weak district.
  12. My predictions for the upcoming season Mt Juliet- 10-0 regular season, will lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs against Oakland or Blackman. Softest schedule of any 6-A team in the state. Opponents went 37-65 last year. 4 of their opponents went 1-9. Why no Williamson Co. teams on the schedule? Why not DA Haven home and home? Embarrassing! Lebanon- 9-1 regular season, will lose in the first round. Extremely soft schedule. Wilson Central- 6-4 regular season, will lose in the first round Hendersonville- 4-6 regular season, will lose in the first round Station Camp - 3-7 regular season Gallatin- 8-2 regular season, will lose in the 3rd round of the playoffs Beech- 7-3 regular season, will lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs
  13. Beech will be too physical for Catholic on both the O and D lines. Bucs win 21-14
  14. We all know RUCO has the best football in the state. Why no state champions in what the last 10 years?
  15. How much will the Bears be favored by in their 2nd round matchup with Cookeville? I would think 14 to 21.
  16. The Bears will definitely hold Davis under 100 yds and based on that Riverdale will not win. Warriors are just too 1 dimensional.
  17. Mount Juliet wins 28-14, Bears will be too physical for the Warriors.
  18. Riverdale wins tonight and hosts Hendersonville (Riverdale by 28 in that one) Lebanon hosts Cookeville (Cavs by 21) Oakland hosts Rossview (Pats by 42) Mt Juliet hosts Blackman (Bears by 14)
  19. Gallatin wins big Lebanon WC Beech big Mount Juliet big
  20. What I meant was to leave in your starters in for the entire game and tack 3 or 4 more TD’s to send a message to Riverdale, Blackman, Cookeville and Oakland that you mean business.
  21. Lebanon wins easily. Talked to friend from Clarksville today since I don’t know much about Rossview. He said typical Rossview team, talented but not very tough. He thinks Lebanon beats them something like 28-7.
  22. The only question I have is will Coach Perry at MJ run the score up to send a message to future Bear opponents. I think he will.
  23. This one will not be close. Bears win 49-7. It also means the Bears have still not beaten 1 good team all year.
