    7A Tonight

So, Devil, you had to bring up the 40 point loss? Yes, that was the worst game I have witnessed the Lady Buffaloes participate in. They could not hit the broad side of the barn or throw a grain of sand into the sea that night. Must I remind you of the loss your precious Lady Blue Devils had at Shelbyville last year? Wasn't it more than 40 points? Both of those losses were probably records in both school's history. Doesn't that prove to you that people can have horrific games and still rise above the rest? I remember some of the records of the past Championship teams that JC had and at least once, they had 10 losses, so that fact should have already educated you on records and losses and HALL OF FAME games. Again, when it comes to competition, C-range is all for that, that is why he always schedules almost all the non-district games AA, or AAA teams. We will love when you all move single A, we love competition, as should all competitors. Anyway, just wanted to remind you of a few things that we have not forgotten either. Good luck to JC the rest of the season! To the Lady Buffaloes . . . . G.A.T.Y.B.!!! Love!

Actually, voice, you're right, I have not seen any real negative things written by you this year, but I was recalling last year's statements you made, and if you look at your history of posts, you may recall them, as well. I am only for the betterment of everyone involved. Thanks, for the post espnaddict, I do agree with you. Your statements were so true. Again, good luck to all this season!

I hate to burst your bubble hoop20, but maybe the problem at wc is the people like you who always want to ride the coaches. Don't u already have something negative posted on the girl's board? I mean, wow, show some positive support. The kids read this, dude. Coach Turner is my husband and, yes, I am Coach Lamar Rogers's daughter. I would love to "chat" with u in person and maybe fill u in on some inside info, but maybe since u think u know everything, it would go thru one ear and out the other. My father had nothing to do with Chris getting the job. He got it because of his knowledge of the game, his desire and enthusium, not his personal success. He is in his 2nd year of head coaching, has had 3 years as an assistant in GA. He had extreme success there, and yes, it is tough right now at wc, but the players AND coaches, and hopefully all of the parents are working extremely hard this year. It will be a tough year, but who isn't up for a challenge? Coach Turner has a coaching job, it isn't one of those jobs you leave at work, he, like another coach I know, take basketball seriously. It goes home, it is there on the weekends, all the time, and if maybe you had a little insight on a coach's life, maybe you wouldn't be so quick to degrade them or always have such negative criticism. Warren County needs support, in ALL areas, sports, etc. We don't need your negativity. It may take awhile for people to adjust, patience is a virtue, and instilling that will help us all. Without a challenge, life would be easier, but less fun. So, can't we all just get on here and keep this CRAP off coacht. Also, to the voice, I'd love to have a name. Why do you all get on here and hide, while trashing people and kids when you have no clue what is going on behind the scenes? Ever heard of pride? I know you will say you have nothing to be proud of, but, think before you speak your mind. Remember that youths are reading this and responding to many of your posts. I am assuming you are adults. I do have some things to say. I am ready for this year and the ride. It will be bumpy, but I support WC and all the players, parents, cheerleaders, coaches, and fans. I wish you luck and all the best. Make it a great year by learning and gaining other's respect by not giving up. Never give up, no matter what you read, what you hear, or what you think. Keep your heads up and play hard, smart, no matter what the odds, score, or negativity. Your Coach belives in you, as do I. Good luck to the Pioneers, (and to my Daddy & the Lady Buffaloes, I love and miss you all! and the Buffaloes) Good luck to all the teams in 7aaa!
  4. For Your Info, Ms. Snow had a dream to hit a three pointer in a game and had yet to fulfill her dream. At that particular moment, she felt it. She took the shot and made it. That has nothing to do with class. At the end of the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP, I am sure she was not trying to put salt in Peabody's wound, she was simply relishing in her team's success and capping off her dream. I am proud of her and the entire team. Congratulations to her and Clarkrange!

You know, Clarkrange beat Jackson County by one in overtime last year in a Hall of Fame game at Clarkrange. Getting beat by 40 at JC this year must kindly be like beating Shelbyville at your place this year, and then going to Shelbyville and losing by 40 POINTS, too. It is weird how things like that happens, huh? Sometimes teams may lose by more than they should by people who are ready to revenge earlier losses. Rick and Jim must have wanted to make it hurt, like their earlier loss hurt.
  7. Congratulations, Lady Buffaloes!!! We love you and are so proud of you! Don't settle for nothing less than the Gold! One game at a time!!!! Go BIG Blue!!!
  8. To the some of Clay Co's posts, if you would go back and re-read some of the C-range posts, we did say we were out-played. You all won. Many posts were not even mentioning the referees. The game is over. Sub-state does not involve the other team, so I would bet that it would be wise to marinate in the TEAM that you will be playing. As far as player-bashing, that needs to stop. Parents please remember when you are yelling at a player, it is someone's child. This great game of basketball involves the richest of rivalry, which is what we have here between Clarkrange and Celina (Clay Co.) and has existed WAY BEFORE these current players we have now. The competiton is fun, and without such nature, b-ball would be boring. Now, getting back on track..... everything that has happened, remember it, but don't beat a dead horse (a game that is over, been played, and basically at this point, in which both teams get to go to Sub-State, means nothing). BTW, #5 obviously did not hide behind her Dad, she posted her own name, he made his comment as did she. These all all a good group of players/kids let them play ball and do what they work hard to do.
  9. Things did get heated last night. Again a reflection of a great rivalry that had been created years ago. To everyone that is an adult, we need to remember that these are kids. Let this fire burn out. All Clarkrange and Clay Co. should do now is focus on their games on Saturday. This is over and we need to represent our district well. Good Luck to them! Win or Lose, be a Lady...... The Strong do Survive.
  10. I would probably think that if the CLARKRANGE fans were not having good attitudes, it must have been because they, too, saw Rich's unclassy "kicking" behavior. They probably did not want one of their players to get hurt, especially without a foul being called. Matter of fact, no one from any team should want ANY player to get hurt. Again, we all remember this is one of the greatest rivalries in the state, or, heck, the world!!!
  11. Clarkrange- 61 Cannon County- 27 Halftime- Clarkrange 38 Cannon County 8 I couldn't add this score to the scoreboard, it wasn't showed on the schedule and I was not able to add a game, either, sorry.

Inconsistant? Yes Unprepared? No This is a team that can play, but are struggling to be consistant. Notice I said TEAM. Reece is not the only player Warren has. They were beat by 4 in overtime against Columbia in the Shelbyville playday last weekend, and they led most of the game. Also, Gomab only watched the Cascade game, and I agree with him that game was not very impressive. Too bad he missed the Columbia game. They played poor D last night, and needed improvement in many areas, but don't underrate them.
  13. the regular starters (ones that played v-ball) did not "start," but they played most of the game
