Officials are slef employed according to the TSSAA. The TSSAA does not pay the officaials the schools do, so I think the TSSAA would not want to be involved.

I believe if an official ejects a fan without the fan being obsene or on the court, he is opening up to have a lawsuit filed against him. If it happened to me I would be at the courthouse the next morning filing the suit. The only thing the TSSAA says about fans is if they are interrupting the game by being on the court or throwing objects on the court they can be ejected. What if you run into the ref away from the game. What is he going to do then? Just a thought

I am a Jackson County fan and have seen most of their games this season. The game at Clarkrange was one of the best officiated games I have seen this year. I complemented one of the officals between games about the job they did and he said it was an honor to be scheduled to call a game like this with 2 great teams.

Jackson County is 17-4 with the loses being to Upperman twice, a AA team and one to Cooekville a AAA team and one in Flordia during Christmas. They have only beat Single A teams 6 times this year. The other 11 wins have come against AA or AAA teams. Will make them better in March

Don't think the refs have a right to eject anyone from a game unless they come on the floor during the game and throw something on the floor. As long as the fans are sitting in the stands doing nothing mentioned above, I don't think the refs can eject anyone. Maybe its time for a civil suit against the ref, and let him explain in court why the ejection. Refs are self employed not employed by the TSSAA or the school so they would be on their on in court. Maybe it it time.

I believe Westmoreland by 10. Gordonsville is not playing to well the last couple of weeks and if Gordonsville gets a lead I don't think they can hold on. Foul shooting has been off for Gordonsville

I thought the sectionals had been replaced by the sub state games. Winner of region is a home and loser travels. This is my understanding.

Jackson County lost 40 something about the time Coach Brown was hired so it can be done.

Upperman would be at the top without Meade, Smith County would be at the bottom without Chumney. Chumney is my vote for MVP because of where Smith Co would be without her. Brown didn't play enough to be considered
