I never said he would be fired in 3 years. I said you need to give him at least 3 years before you judge him as a coach. I made that comment while replying to a person who was dogging him without even letting him coach a game yet.

I have heard Rang interviewed and was offered, but apparently he's holding out for a better job that might possibly come open in the near future.

Beginning of the end?? We've won like 9 games in 5 years... Can it get much worse? Give the man a shot to run his own program. Judgement will come in three years.

I've heard the supplement for the AD position at Clinton is nearly $10,000 a year.

He is an assistant principal. The AD is a paid position in Anderson County and it pays really well....

The AD missed several football games for no apparent reason. He has absolutely botched several hired (baseball,football,soccer). Just has no clue what he is doing. It's like UT, when you get a guy that actually cares about the athletic department instead of collecting a check then you will become more successful as a program. Collette is just the AD because he failed as the baseball coach and they had no place else to put him as a tenured teacher.

Administration is the problem... must fix the people in charge before you can fix an individual program.

QB play has got to be a little better against the tougher teams like Greenville/Elizabethton. AC will have the skill players for sure. WIll have to replace a few key members off the OL and DL. SHould be another exciting year for the mavs.

just based on what I've heard, I would expect Rodney Ellison to be one of the main names that pop up. would be a nice pick up for Clinton. I don't think he will will 7-8 games a year but would have them competing again.

Since Brad Collette has been the AD, he's made two hires... Matt Byrd (baseball) and Randy Mckamey (Football). Both of those coaches had to be ran out of town for various reasons. The problem with Clinton is in the administration.

Not that familiar with high school football in this part of the state. Who would be some good options for Clinton to go after? Realistic names only please.

Brian was a Senior when I was a sophomore. Great man. I think the dragons get back in the W column this week with a 28-21 win vs C.C.

Just saw where former dragon player and former CMS football coach Brian Justice passed away this morning. Prayers to his family.

I’ve been critical of this team and coaching staff, but proud of the effort those guys showed tonight.

I think the dragon’s high powered offense comes to play and lights up the scoreboard by scoring a solid 12 points. Oak ridge will have the JV in by halftime. I’ll go 48-12 cats

You’re exactly right, and it’s an absolute shame. 6’6 300 pounds and can’t block a soul.

I don’t like to call players out and I probably shouldn’t post this, but how in the world is #79 for clinton not any good? The kid is massive.. he got blew up the entire night tonight by a kid much smaller. Then he decided he didn’t want to play in the second half so he was “hurt.” I’ve been going to clinton games for 20 years and I don’t recall a player so soft in my life.
