I've been quiet for a week but does anyone wanna hop back on the Viking wagon again. Their wrestling speaks for itself. I know some of y'all got off, but the coaching staff gave me permission to let a limited few back on.

93Vike, I wasn't there to join The atmosphere bc I was at another event. The Vikings may have created some new fans last night in Bristol but I think they were probably fellow Vikings in the makin'. I doubt the Vikings converted any 'Toppers to come get on the wagon. About the midstate, my point was that everyone from SH to CBHS knows which two teams are coming out of REG1. I will tell you that last yrs Vikings team did create "a lot" of fans at the WillCoAgCntr with their impressive showing with only 11 wrestlers.

Wilkins didn't wrestle last night in the NW 45-31 win over Mt. Juliet. Assuming he pins the NW kid that won, it's still a 39-37 NW victory. Looks like the HWT's are evenly matched bc it was a 3-1 OT win for NW. Seems that this match could have went either way with a "healthy" Wilkins in MT Juliets lineup.

Wendigolegion, I honestly don't think people in the midstate area care who comes out of REG1. People all over the state know which two teams it will be, it's just a matter of who finishes 1st and who finishes in 2nd. That being said, SH wrestled well last night and deserved the victory. As far as the wagon goes, there may be a little more room today than it was yesterday which means I'll be able to reserve you a front row seat now if you'd like. Be sure to let me know soon.

Wendigolegion, if I'm not mistaken, Halls is a team out of Knoxville. I would consider them to be an East TN team and not a midstate team. The list looks fairly accurate to me. I also think the TN High Viking bandwagon will be rolling full speed ahead come team duals time. Hop on now while you still can. Please feel free to offer us your own top 10-12 teams list.

From what I've seen and read about A/AA, the "Greene", PF, and everyone else may be chasin Hixson this year.

Yes they are. I don't know a lot about those teams down there, but I did see where NW finished ahead of Beech at the Thompson HS tourney down in AL. May have overlooked him but I didn't see the Beech 170lb kid in any of the brackets. We will have a better idea abt Wilkins and Mt Juliet after this week.

Looks like Mt Juliet will see how they stack up this week with matches against Clarksville NW and Beech. I've heard they be a "dark horse" to come out of Region 7. Any thoughts?

OW, TN High has some very good wrestlers. Don't underestimate them. Tonight's matchup should give you a better idea as to how good they are. You better believe Coach Marshall and his staff will have their guys ready to roll starting tonight through Feb.
