WB actually made the playoffs that same year so it was one of the few good teams they had. Seems there are always excuses when WB loses games or entire seasons. Feeling bad because a small school spanked you in one quarter or an entire scrimmage and taking shots at other coaches and players is a real example of character maybe they should have a classification for schools that can’t win more than three games a season.

When Coach Satterfield was at GHS. they scrimmaged WB and kicked their buts!! WB never called again for another scrimmage.

After finally hiring coach I’m surprised there are no posts about this coach. Anyone ever heard of him??

Old school coaching by Davis will make their heads explode. May not be the best fit for him.

It is a known fact that clemmer has been and continues to illegally contact athletes and parents on behalf of Greenback. And the Director of Loudon county schools has been informed. Now whether he does anything or not is another question. He seems to have other problems right now.

Looks like safe picks have kept them in decades of losing and mediocraity. They do have a very good basketball program your right maybe they should just play round ball and ditch everything else. No disrespect intended but their pick doesn't show much resolve for a dramatic change of attitude or direction. They can continue buying tickets to watch coalfield, Oneida, sunbright and oakdale play in the playoffs.

I'm a long time friend and former player for him at GHS. He told me he was very excited for the challenge and to face some of his old opponents. He was surprised at their response. he is still looking for a coaching gig. Certainly a head scratcher

If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you've always gotten. Those same middle school boys and parents will be the same one wanting him fired in a season or two
