Looks like to me that Giles had a few rough years and they were moved to the east in 21 and turned things around going 30-6. Giles is the favorite in the game from what I hear but this Meigs team will fight for 4 quarters. Safe travels to everyone, it looks like the roads could be wet.
Actually both teams have been going deep into the playoffs. Looks like Giles Co lost in the first round as freshman and the last two years they made it to Alcoa and got thrashed like everyone else. The Meigs seniors made it to the title game as freshman and lost in the second round and lost in the first round last year, so both teams have experience. So I don’t think that’s been overlooked.
The horse collar was uncalled for, but Sequatchie had it’s fair share of cheap shots, and Meigs is without one of it’s best defensive players as well, he is a senior and out for the season. So don’t be a sore loser, the better team won.
Maybe we can hold them under 70 lol. I watched some videos and they have some really good players, hopefully we can control the clock and finish drives and try to slow them down.
The 9-2 Giles Co Bobcats make the 3 hour drive to Decatur to face the 12-0 Meigs Co Tigers. I know very little about Giles, but they look to be a very good team and from what I hear they are the favorites in this game. What’s everyone thoughts on this one?
