  1. I will give you a couple and happy for anyone to give me an explanation. Illegal man down the field on a run play. 2 illegal touching on the reciever stepping out of bounds but never touching the ball when came back in. Caught the ball at sticks hit immedialty drove back 4 yards ball spotted 4 yards behind the sticks. I could go on but will love to hear the first to explained
  2. This has turned into a thread of immature trash talk and not about the game. I do know this, Alcoa has earned the respect they deserve as I also know UHS boys don't care about the past. They are playing this Friday . I have seen it on every level of sports, anything can happen on a Friday night. I do hope that the Alcoa boys are taking this game as lightly as their fans on here. Good luck to all and no injuries on either side.
  3. I'm suspecting it may be the largest crowd ever to attend a football game at UHS. I am hoping they plan and don't turn anyone away. I am not sure they will allow standing on the fence on the away side because that's where the extra bleachers go. I don't think they properly plan right at UHS or maybe the don't have the resources to properly plan. You would think the county would assist in making sure they have everything they need to not turn anyone away. Win or loss this game is huge for UHS and the community.
  4. Not sure anyone is mad at Alcoa. . Well maybe Madhatter, he seems to be mad at everyone. He does not represent Baxter i assure you. Not sure why its even a thought to move it to Alcoa's second home at Tech. Everyone around football here respects Alcoa and they deserve it. We do however believe our boys will compete and if play flawless have a chance for the upset. The boys have respect but no fear.
  5. Wow, so heavy words especially when no one on here especially from Baxter stated that we were better then Alcoa. We and everyone should have tons or respect for Alcoa they earned and deserve it. However that being said our kids won’t go down without leaving it all on the field. These kids beleive in their team and that’s what I like to see going into the game. No one compared Cookeville to maryville and no one here has taken anything away from Alcoa.
  6. Big win for UHS in a great game. However I will say this, red bank showed class at the end as well as our guys. Seen many of ours hugging and shaking hands with Red bank and it was reciprocated back to our guys. Great game and more important a class game by both teams. No personal fouls all night. Way to keep your head high Red Bank.
  7. Well this is a thread for opinions and views so you are definitely entitled to yours as well. I think it will be a good game either way. Crowd may play a factor in favor of UHS. Regardless of who you play both teams had to show up every week all year to be undefeated.
  8. I agree Sequatchie had a good year especially with a coaching change. However a question for you. How come you lose to Red bank by 3 and they are a "good undefeated team" (which they are) and you lose to UHS by 12 and they are "not that good" and it was "only 12" and "if it wasn't raining" and etc. I think your being a little bias.
  9. I wish Notre Dame luck on their nice field this week...... oh their not playing?
  10. So you can talk about a Qb who "taunted fans" but believe all threads should be removed about kids who were charged and convicted of a crime. Seems legit lol.
  11. I cannot fathom that no one from Sequatchie would not have called TSSAA in advance for eligibility. However TSSAA may not have had all the factors when they gave the OK. If they did speak with someone. Also they did actually play.
  12. I would hate to see this other kids get punished especially if the administration was really not aware that they were not supposed to be in a regular school. However If i were the coach or administration I would not have let them on the team to start with. Made their own beds.
  13. You been trolling UHS since you got beat down. They said good game so take the loss with some dignity.
  14. I guess just have not watched film on that game. UHS didn’t pass the second half and was interior running the whole time. They didn’t try and score they tired to kill the clock and minimize injuries. Both accomplished. However again York plays hard every game so it will be another tough game for UHS I just beleive nothing has changed to be a different outcome.
  15. I don't think UHS got where they are at by taking plays off. York does not either that's why i think it may have the same outcome. York will have to change up their offense a little to compete. UHS is big up front with 4 LB's that like to hit. Plays right into stopping York as they did with holding them under 120 yards. Also York does not do good against the pass. It will be a tough game for both teams and anything can happen on a Friday night.
  16. I know you have hatred for UHS but what happened in last few weeks to make a difference that York now wins after losing 35-14
  17. I will just refer you to the game film from a few weeks ago.
  18. Uhs held York to minimum rushing yards last game. Not sure if muchbwill change uhs 35-14
  19. Uhs put JV in with 4:30 left. Poison played hard and losing 25 was a sad situation for them.
  20. Uhs 44-14 8 minutes left in game. Loudon RB hurt had to come out. He was playing great to. He would have made a difference but still I beleive same outcome.
  21. Looks like field will still be wet however no rain game day. It will be cold for all teams this Friday. Loudon passes a lot more then UHS. A couple years ago UHS passed 80% of the time now they throw maybe 10%. Don't think weather will favor either one or hurt either one. Will be a good game.
  22. Red Bank beat them last year and Smith was tougher. Red Bank wins by 3 or 4 td's.
  23. Well they had opportunity to knock him on his butt because he ran on them all night long. lol
  24. Lol this guy is on every thread saying crying "what could have been" Your team played hard but at the end of the day they scored 7, just like UHS defense averaged giving up all year but good luck in playoff.
  25. Thank you in every post he states that they slipped. Do you think UHS has magic cleats. They slipped as well. UHS only passed the ball twice both completed for 55 yards. SC threw because they were desperate and could not get any big plays running the ball. They had one drive that was over 20 plays long which was great for them but stopped on 4th down. UHS defense after 20+ plays still has the heart to stop them. He also thinks if this would be different and that different blah blah blah. It came down to this. UHS could stop there running game and SC could not stop UHS. I think UHS punted once. Heck SC had players actually shoving each other on the field because they were mad. One kid was first through the line at end of the game and flat refused to shake hands with any UHS players. SC always plays hard but that lack of sportsmanship is as common as their hard play. Good luck to all in the playoffs.
