what 9AAA pitchers have really good off speed ??

i was talking about the smyrna game sonney pitched vs. goodpasture

i hate to tell u but i was right beside the scout basicly the whole game sonny pitched and he was hitting 89 most of the night and hit 90 on the gun alot now about the curveball he was throwing it 78 half the time and 80 the other half.

can anyone tell me there favorite bat ?

I SWEAR i seen the rader gun when he was pitching and its true he was hitting 89 90 alot and a nice 80mph curve that fooled a bunch of guys the vandy scout said hes the best freshmen hes ever seen in his life.

i was standing by the scout is shock when i seen the gun lol trust me he was hitting 89 90 threw the 6th and thats very very good for a freshmen or any player

well its hard to wait on a 50mph fastball and a 42mph changeup so i guess thats why and the second game we played we had ppl playin positions they never played before and we just gave up i have no idea why

i seen overtons jv play and they looked terible .The pitcher they threw when they played smyrna coulden't break 55mph, and for there infeild they stunk.The only guy that i thought were ok were the left feilder and the shortstop.

yea that smyrna high shut down 8-5 with Josh Blair coming into the 3rd for smyrna and throws that NAsY off speed with MJ only scoring 1 run off him and it was a walk.

its hard to tell whos Smyrna's ace is but i feel all the starters and very strong this year with all of them throwing over 83 i would like to see smyrna go to state

Because there is only 4 catchers on the whole SHS team and he is proboly 1 of the best hitters out of the 4 it is either him or kelly thomason. I seen Kelly play great this past weekend he only had one pastball in 3 games and he was hitting the ball very hard so if he keeps on improving himself he has a good shot of playing varsity.

well im sorry to break the news to u but send him up to my boy sonny grey and sonny will rip him like he does basicly everytime hes bats. Let sonny pitch to him and it will be 1 2 3 hes out he won't be touching that 87mph+ fastball or the 82 mph curveball.

whos the best pitcher in 9AAA ?

I seen that game is was a very good performance by Jonathan Mullins and Smyrna. I seen Mullins throw 85 mph + fastballs threw the 5th inning of that game and had a nasty curve working.

Smyrna JV is looking pretty good so far with a 2-0 record . The pitching staff is great and mixed around,u got your ace then u got your fastballers and your Junk pitchers.I seen some great off speed pitches from Josh Blair at LHS and some very good 80mph+ fastballs from Rusty Edwards. Hitting isen't bad either there has been some great hits and 3 home runs so far,i hope to see Smyrna win more games.

I think its gonna be Smyrna High School this year. We have a great program and great pitching staff and are record is 2-0 beating top ranked teams by 11 runs so i feel pretty good about our trip to Memphis this year.

i agree sonny grey from Smyrna High is a great pitcher hes very intimdating on the mound and can throw around the 85mph mark threw 7 innings he is a kid to look out for this year and all threw high school

im gonna have to go scott its a close battle as of now but during the season we will see who comes threw and ramsey a very good catcher with blocking skills of a hockey golie
