So without all of the actual plays, TC would have won.  Great breakdown of football. Turns out those plays won the game.  20-16 is the only stat that counts.

Yea it's that simple most high school teams can't over come two special team turnovers on their own side of the field and yea 20-16 is all that counts but don't act like a punt muff and a fumbled kickoff that FC player didn't caused either fumble both fumbles weren't force fumbles that made the difference in the game and also one TC b st players not being able to play offense

I am a parent on team and watched them run and workout yesterday. All the players were there and they were focused more than ever. This coach has discipline and character. He doesn't put up with non sense and this so called incident had absolutely nothing to do with him. Funny how people won't to try and make out something that isn't even true. Having lived in Hartsville my whole life, I will say this coach may have been a God sent to us. These players respect him and he is bringing back the traits we have missed for awhile of Trousdale County team. I was very impressed with what I saw yesterday coming off a tough lost Friday. This team will be ready Friday night. Wait and see.

Nothing I said is made up this has nothing to do with the head coach I said a volunteer assistant coach I agree with you about the head coach after the problems that happen last year this new head coach is perfect to me even with the loss last Friday night the boys didn't ever hang their heads and I also lived in Hartsville my whole life and I know what happened and I also know the police had to take a statement from the volunteer assistant and the player that left the program is the volunteer assistant coach child so I'm sure you be able to figure out who it is

    What happened?

Police had to take a statement on a incident between the Coaches and also in sure the assistant won't be on sideline anymore and also a starter has left the program because of the incident supposedly

Rankin is a good player and appeared to be TC's best on defense.  I saw his performance vs Lebanon and no way he is their best weapon offensively.  Just like he wasn't the best player on the field Friday night.

If memory serves me correct the score may have been even worse had FC not taken knees deep in TC territory rather than punching another score in.  To say TC is better than FC or "we'll see who goes further" is akin to whining like LHS has done all this past wk about being better than TC.  I'm calling BS on both statements.

Rankins is the best player in defense and on offense to me that's my opinion he is a leader he has been since he step foot on TC field in peewee Kevon is just as good too also but to me when comes to speed and power and what and far as could been worse I could say take two unforced special team fumbles away it would have been 16-7 tc win FC only scored one touchdown with out TC turning ball over in their own side of the field so the would have could have doesn't matter and if your memory was so great you would have remembered the 15 yard personal foul that help FC get that deep into territory and no at end of year FC won't win their region or even make it past second round of the playoffs which TC should do both and as far as Lebanon goes they lost that agrument when they lost Friday night in not whining in the end this games doesn't matter at all to what really counts all it was a game against a hated rival that was a good game and a game that will help TC when it comes playoff time

I thought this was Postman from Whinemoreland at 1st injecting where the coaches were wrong, we were better, ( the usual excuses)..........then..........

I realized he wouldn't take backwater with the  "I knew", "means nothing " and "great decision"

Nah it means I actually know the kid and his family and he had a stinger  and how is that Tc had two turnovers on special teams on their side of the field that's no excuse that's the reason they lose shouldn't Smith be worried bout RBS or Celina who ever they play next in their non competitive schedule

Good reason why coach didn't play him. He didn't practice any in pads this week due to a sore shoulder. Smart he held him on offense to make sure he was healthy for Watertown. The difference in the FC game was the 2 turnovers. This TC team has the ingredients to play for it all. These early tougher games are going to help them as season goes. I see it like most..their is a collision  course for TC and Marion County in quarterfinals.

Yea i knew he had a stinger in his shoulder to but I get what your saying this games means nothing in the long run besides bragging rights next few  week games decided rather be on the road or playing at home come playoffs time that was a great decision looking back on it now

While still trailing by a lot in this long standing rivalry FC has now won 4 of the last 5 meetings.  Glad to see these two playing again.  It definitely should help both teams come November.

From my perspective TC threw it better than I thought they could.  Their QB is unquestionably their best offensive threat.  Reminded me a lot of a skinny Lee Massen yrs ago for FC.

FC was much stronger between the tackles and once McNeal committed to pound the football in the 2nd half instead of running the jet and other runs outside FC took control offensively.

Defensively, the Rankin kid played great for TC.  Likewise, Bostian, Taylor, & Cherry played well for FC.  TC looked tired and physically beaten down by the 4th qrtr.  The bigger, stronger, better team won.

Rankin is best offense player too but the coach decided not to give him the ball or even let him play 5 offensive plays wasn't tired or weaker bad turnovers on special teams on the wrong side of the field will get any team beat player for player TC showed they are better team at end of year the record and how far both teams go in the playoffs will show that TC is the better team special teams fumbles just cost TC the game and not letting Rankins which was the best player on the field on both sides Friday night cost TC the game and credit goes to FC for capitalizing on those mistakes also

Maybe Div. 2 is that much better then D1

D2 should be better than d1 has to play with what they don't get to hand pick the kids they want and recruit them or give kids that can't afford the school a scholarship or whatever they do if it was left up to most parents and community D2 school would never be on a D1 schedule

6'5" 210 pound quarterback. If Westmoreland knocked him around then Carlisle better have his head on a swivel. I have not seen Ezell play, but they are private so they are probably good. Don't sleep on Westmoreland, they may end up in Cookeville. I am just looking forward to Cumberland County so Macon will have a chance. I will save my money on Friday and just listen to the radio broadcast.

You must have forgot who is in Westmoreland region this year Watertown will be a L for Westmoreland and TC will blow Westmoreland out like past couple year in two games Westmoreland scored 7 points total against a down Trousdale team both years Westmoreland will struggle to even make the playoffs before you can even think about  Cookeville try scoring a TD on TC or just making the playoffs

What? Im just talking football? Aint that a vaiable question to ask? LOL youd think there would be another satterfield running around over there somewhere.

Well one satterfield is the Offense coordinator at Austin Peay and the other one is a teacher and was a coach last year they just have other interest besides high school football

Nope. Don't play Pearl thankfully. They are a whole different level. I just hope we can hang with Westmoreland. Judging by last week, they must be loaded.

Maybe I didn't read this right but Westmoreland is loaded really  I didn't see any speed or athleticism from Westmoreland last year at all I think your are over estimating Westmoreland they won't even make the playoffs on creekbank last year they struggled to even get a first down and they had no speed at all

So I got two questions for everybody about this game.

    (1) This is a 2-game series at Lebanon this year and at TC next year. Do you want to see this continue going forward and what do you think the odds are of this series to continue?

    (2) How about that parking at Lebanon? Jezuz it took me 30-45 minutes to get out of the parking lot. I will gladly drive down to the creekbank next year just to avoid getting stuck in the parking lot.

Not really I rather play different schools from around TC area to keep it exciting like station camp Wilson central Beech John Paul I think TC should be favored alll their top players be back and TC will be better next year                                       I didn't leave the parking lot until 10:30

I went back and looked at the past games when making this thread and actually more often than not it has been a blowout. In 8 of the last 13 matchups the outcome has been by multiple touchdowns and several times been +30-0 either way.

Really I always thought past games where close but I knew their was some blowouts but +30 wow that's a great stat

We will see like you said its very hard to say after just one week's worth of games and the summer.

We still don't know how good either team is just based off of one game. Its possible that Lebanon might be much improved but Trousdale Co. is just that good this year. For example the year that Trousdale Co. beat Gallatin people were saying that Gallatin was gonna be terrible because of that loss..... Gallatin went 8-3 I believe and Trousdale Co. went 15-0 so they weren't bad just lost to a very good team.

They should at least be able to be competitive if not beat Antioch, Station Camp and Coffee County. I would also throw McGavock and LaVergne in there as games where they might have a chance if they really are better this year.

I expect them to be better next year. But my concern for Lebanon is how they will be in 2019/2020 because it didn't seem like those classes had to much talent at the middle school level.

I think Lebanon will win at least 2 games but the offense has to better and more complex tan QB runs to right side of field seem like they only ran 4 plays the whole game and they didn't make any adjustments but i think they will get better as season goes along but if that mounts up to wind that I don't know

Thanks for enlighten me on your intelligence. You have to coach different because you don't have D1 athletes and neither does any of the teams you play.... so you have to coach different. Ok copy that. I'll save my response for someone who knows football..

Ummm  no TC played NCS they had D1 athletes
