There were plenty of people there that taped the match BESIDES the one that was shown on here and they just didn't post those on the internet to be removed. Also some people seem too blind to see things correctly (like the referee, his helper and plenty of others that watched the same video posted on here) and at that point I pray they don't drive with those same eyes!  Some people also were able to watch it on NFHS network, I don't think it went down for everyone so Flowrestling wasn't the one to carry the match at that time. I paid for NFHS and it wouldn't allow me to sign into FLO to watch the matches. 

 

Pretty cool wrestlinggod you got to do that stuff outside of regular wrestling, especially considering many good actual wrestlers did pretty well in sports entertainment. Heck Cody Runnels (Rhodes) was a state champ down in Georgia and has made a very good living doing that backyard stuff LOL. Gordie Ray that wrestled at East Ridge did ok also and Brock Lesnar, so have plenty of others and also those now signed to developmental contracts from the NCAA pipeline! 

No they didn't, that would be weird, video taping 2 kids that aren't yours.

1) Not watching a podcast with a guy who does fake backyard wrestling as a grown man.....Desselle is only knowledgeable person on it. 

2) The match was NEVER recorded on flo. The stream went down.  You are a liar, and it's embarrassing.

it’s the same with any sporting competition. There’s bad calls. It’s just gonna happen. The refs are human and they’re just interpreting the action they see. Losing your mind over it isn’t going to change anything though. 
 

all that said, my opinion on the call in the 126 final is that it was the correct call.

@FrecoFanatic I love Tyson and genuinely hope he gets it done this year at the state tournament. He's turned into a great wrestler BUT he ain't beating Carson Gentle. You might even convince me that Cleveland could win every weight class against McCallie but there is zero chance they'd win that one. Not a knock on Tyson but a realization of who Carson is and the level of athlete Tyson would be up against. 

Hopefully we can get a matchup in January over the next several years to see some of these matchups happen.

But how in the world is a kid that has NEVER made the State Finals (3rd last year losing to a FC kid) so unbeatable?

FS is not folk style, if you wrestled either you would know that. I learned it pretty quickly when I was down at McCallie doing FS and Greco before my senior year. Thankfully I sucked at them both, but I was actually better at FS than folk.

That is sometimes what happens when you are not a full 285lb which Russell is not. Davis is a full 285 and Russell would have trouble with him now and I’d take Davis to actually win that match. I also say that Gentle is much better than Davis is much is why I don’t think Russell would have a shot to beat him. Maybe I’m wrong and it sucks we won’t find it out, but we also might find out Russell isn’t the best 285 in AA to begin with just like we might find the same with Davis. 

Im sure they will wrestle this summer.... if Davis loses will you not claim Soddy any more?

Yes Gentile had a 8-4 match with Levy..... but didn't score an offensive point..... and per FloRankings..... he is not ranked (yes I know hes tough, yes i know he won 16U Fargo)

Cleveland isn’t the answer for everyone, nor is McCallie. I don’t get mad because you guys got Lucas, Fowlers, Kellen, etc. Just part of the process that parents have to make for their kids
