Pretty sure its $300, I think thats what I heard it was last year. Pretty reasonable, numbers seemed to be higher last year, and our better kids were going.

    Fargo Qualification

Would need a special exemption from the board, doesn't matter if we had a kid ranked #1 in the country.

    FARGO Qualifications

Ok this helps out ALOT. Word on the street was you had to be given PERMISSION to wrestle in a regionals. Thought that was odd Thank Durden for clearing that up. Seems to be a lot of control issues with TWF. I'm with cbg, could we get a list if the current board members....... without having to call someone.

    FARGO Qualifications

Thank to all for an answer. Yes the answer seems always to be CALL. I am a parent, and feel most parents, would find it easier to find an answer on this forum. I keep seeing, "recieve an exemption". Are ALL exemptions voted by the board? Lastly, what are qualifications for SE Regionals? I have heard different stories. Would love to hear from our TWF President as to if this is mandated by the TWF? My understanding is that it is am OPEN tournament to anyone.

TN Ironman at Blackman High School 4-14-2018

9 satellite weigh ins? Just let everyone weigh in thier own kids.
  22. Why is the world would you use the honor system for weigh ins?
  23. Ironman will be a great tournament in state for kids to wrestle.
  24. Typically, not very many little kids. If there are, they are usually grouped with 1 or 2 weight classes. Good mat time, but for most kids they wrestling kids way bigger or smaller. Until numbers in the youth are higher, I recommend traveling to surrounding states where numbers are alot higher. Indiana, Georgia and I believe NC has very good numbers for youth. Not sure why our participation in the youth is so poor, because TN has a great group of young kids.
  25. Georgia offers alot of opportunities as well. Numbers are always high, they have great officiating (3 man mechanics), tournaments are ran very efficient, and level of competition is VERY high. March 31st- Hiram, GA APRIL 7th- Paulding County, GA 14th- Newman, GA 21st- Valdosta, GA 28th- GA Games May 12th- Woodland Highly recommend attending tournaments outside of state if you want to improve.
