Looks like Summertown got in fairly tough pool so we shall see how we stack up

Hope so Summertown now at full strength so should tell us their potential / even if don’t play maybe get a view of each other

Maybe meet up this weekend at Rocky Top Classic

Lot of weak teams get in and lot of stronger teams get left out because of their regionality - some even served underhanded but guess that the beauty of the beast ( TSSAA )

Most 1A schools have one rotation that for a better term is slightly inferior in size and efficiency ( at least at Summertown ) whereas bigger schools are pretty consistent across the board

Hard to beat those 3A schools - they are just toooo big not necessarily better - Summertown ran into that against Brentwood over the weekend / Summertown probably a notch below last years team but get after it pretty good

I see a SG -Summertown clash down the road - would be another classic

Summertown Beat quality team in Loretto they’ll be hard to handle end of season

Summertown be w/o Libero for few games ( and she gets to everything ) so hopefully can compensate but don’t be shocked if see a loss or two on scoreboard

Summertown runs the gauntlet in the Boro - USN - Crockett Co - MTCS - ECS - Norte Dame - Providence Christian in finals - well done LADY EAGLES

Eagleville never let’s anything hit the floor that’s what makes them tough out - Summertown got task this weekend in Murfreesboro against some high level teams from around the state - we shall see if can hold up

Summertown beats a high octane Eagleville team on their home court - both teams laid it on the line but Summertown up 3-2

Hard to tell bout Loretto they had couple girls out but they have all the ingredients to be good ( size and athleticism ) know more later on them -Summertown played well nothing to write home about ( serve and D great - offense little below Summertown standards ) like I said before no dominant teams I’ve seen as of now

Summertown got tough play day this weekend - renewing what has proved to be most competitive games in state over last several years w Loretto / lot of new faces on both squads but rivalry will still make even play day entertaining

Thanks / from what I heard not the quality teams ( except y’all ) that were at Eagleville. But lot of teams will be in mix for sure

Haven’t heard they were - playing somewhere next week haven’t heard bout Harpeth - just getting thru w Eagleville tomorrow so be hard for next day games but we’ll see - you won’t be disappointed w Summertown bout don’t expect same caliber as last few year

All 4 finalist will be tough but Summertown /Loretto lost key players - Summertown played Eagleville in play day they’re tournament ready but lack little height - played Sale Creek also has probably best player in 1A but rest of team average at best but unlike past years not one dominant team I know of as of yet
