NG up 3-1 at the top of 3

North Greene’s schedule hasn’t been too tough and they start 4 freshmen, 2 sophomores and a junior. They’re a couple years away from being really good. Ng pitching staff isn’t very deep so if Potter gets in trouble it will be a long night. Should be a good game from two good teams.

Greeneville won west greene runner up

North greene travels to Greenback Monday night for a Regional matchup. Zane Potter will be on the hill for the huskies. Any thoughts on how this game will go?

Only reason y’all even had a chance was because our player got a technical called with 12 seconds left that allowed you all to retake the lead. All he said was “I didn’t touch him.” And everyone whines about how #21 didn’t do anything when he actually said “that was GD BS”. And then the coach decides to kick a chair and cuss at the ref. You’d think a team that has had over 40 technicals would eventually learn their lesson.

North Greene’s leading scorer and all state guard went out early in the 2nd quarter when it was tied. Would have been a different outcome if he played . 8-21 on foul shots doesn’t help either.

NG does not have a transfer from Asheville. All of their kids went to the feeder elementary schools. That is south greene, they have two : one from NC and one from Germany.

Hmm, idk why it’s not on there. I have a family member that plays for NG and at times they’re really good and times really bad. Got a first year high school coach whose dad coached basketball at Crockett for awhile. Anxious to see how the season unfolds. Heard university high was improved which NG plays them next week.

From what I’ve seen the conference seems to be a little down this year. South greene moving up helps though because they have a solid team this year beating north greene 57-19 last week. (North greene beat Sullivan south and Volunteer early in the season) SG lost to Greeneville last night by 3. It seems to be pretty wide opened right now.
