How will South Greene's D fair this year with the loss of all-stater Brian Wright?

It's a powerlifting meet not an olympic meet. More specifically it's a push pull meet which means bench and dead. Come and join in this year it's not as bad as you think.

I went and I thought SG had it in the bag at the half, apparently so did they. Horrible execution was mostly to blame, and turnovers turnovers turnovers. If they got it across the line it was either thrown away or they missed shots until HV got the board. SG handled the 2-3 zone well in the first half and then HV went to a half court trap out of a man and SG went nuts. They lost on a last second shot by either Caldwell or Rutledge.

SG didn't have the best but they were good. I'm not sure how many sacks they gave up but I do know they average under 200. They had one 1,000 yard rusher and others that put the total over 2,000. They're by no means the best because they're too light but they are good.

Remind me of a time when SG ever cared what Greeneville thought. And dont you have your own tourny to get beat in?

Personally I'd like to see what would happen in an SG-UC rematch when SG is shooting like I've seen them shoot.

Ok lets review your horribly tough schedule. Oh thats right you didnt play high school teams until Hampton and Cloudland. Im not sure that if Grace and Jellico had'nt played each other that either one would have won a single game. As for you guys being able to play with Trousdale I think not. I went to the title games(D II not included). I also went to the Mo' West Mville game, and I'm pretty sure it was 14-7 Mville at the half. It got a little rough at the end because Mo' West gave up. And on a final note ( this is for you cosbypride ) orangeblood needs to use his skill of bring people down on you guys. Keep in mind North Greene also thought they were good until they got out of the single A part of the schedule and started playing in their conferece. They only won 2 confernce games (against WG and CD) . Idealism - A tendency to show or present things in an ideal or idealized form rather than as they really are. Im not saying UC will or won't win it all but keep in mind that anyone is beatable on any given day. Take the Hampton-UC game for example.

Yes and yes with the exception of the top two. Cloudland and Hampton are going to be competitive no matter the conference. If Cloudland and Hampton were in that conference the final standings would be Mo' West Daniel Boone Hampton Cloudland in that order.

Oh that hurts... not. I will give Cosby some credit they are getting better, but as far as CC having a wead 4a conference that is not so. Morristown West was only bested by eventual state champs Maryville, Daniel Boone I believe made it to the second round and got beat by TN high, Cherokee, Greeneville, and Mo' East are not bad teams they just had a down year. But as for the rest of the teams in that region, yeah they pretty much stink. Now lets talk about a weak region, 1 1a. It only has six teams which means you only have to win two conference games to make it to the playoffs. Im pretty sure that my little cousin's eighth grade team could beat Jellico and Grace. Hampton is real good, Cloudland is obviously good and I won't take back what I said about Cosby getting better but other than that 1 1a pretty much stinks.

Cloudland has a tiny gym. they've got 5 rows of bleachers on one side a stage on the other. and the top section only has about 5 rows too. Not to mention it echos worse than any ive ever been in.

Sorry to burst your bubble but CC is still the football school in Cocke county. Until Cosby wins a region title it will stay that way. And as long as Cloudland and Hampton are in the region that will never happen.

South Greene and Cocke County. Even though it's only four years old this coming season its real big for some of the sg boys who live in Cocke county but go to South Greene.SG got stroked at home by CC the first year then SG went to CC two years straight because of scheduling difficulties and beat them at their house two years straight.

Hoese from South Greene in 1 AA. He has done a good job getting his team into top end of a new district.

Alcoa by what ever they want. They sent a statewide message last week that they could score when and how they wanted and apparently play some D too. No one in AA can touch them so I'm going to say Alcoa 63 CAK 24.
