  1. Ridiculous. I don't know much about LA, but I seriously doubt Bolivar blows them out of the water. I say it will be a good game overall, with no one blowing anyone else out.
  2. Going to the game having never seen the GC girls this year, i was impressed. #11 for GC played a good game, and I was extremely impressed with #45 (or #54, or both). Bolivar turned it over way too much, especially in those opening minutes. No one to blame but ourselves for that loss. GC came ready to play and apparently Bolivar didn't. That being said, I hope GC takes it all the way. Bolivar only loses Sain this year, so they'll have most of them back, with some strong players coming in next season. Look for Bolivar to make some noise next year.
  3. Papatiger, You should just let go of your grudge against Bolivar. It's almost as if you are a parrot repeating the same thing..."Bolivar is good but not great, they won't win state" *SQUAWK* Look forward to the Bolivar-Liberty rivalry getting back to a tough district battle.
  4. Haha. The girls will be ready to play, that's for sure.
  5. Yes, they are both coached by Rick Rudesill, and I'm convinced the man never sleeps.
  6. Bolivar started strong and really never let up. Hodge hit 3 3-pointers and got the crowd into it early. They turned it up a notch with 5 min left to go. Good job Tigers.
  7. Coacht, The scoreboard has the Bolivar Marshall Co. game backwards. Bolivar won 71-44
  8. Any team that can drop 43 points in a quarter is dangerous. I think it's going to be a great matchup. I think Bolivar squeaks it out about 74-73 or something like that. Marshall can be too good with the 3-ball to count them out. If Bolivar gets out to a big lead, they'll still have to play hard. It'll be a great game for fans of both sides I believe.
  9. 58-42 Bolivar over Creekwood
  10. Jackson got it worse than we did and a lot of our roads that buses travel on still have ice and slush that will refreeze. That's primarily the problem. It is on the tertiary roads around here, but out in the county I don't know, since they are all sorta back off the beaten path and have a lot of shade
  11. Bolivar looked sloppy. They turned the ball over way too many times.
  12. I thought I saw a lot of missed walks/travels. I saw it happen many times on both sides where it wasn't called.
  13. Bolivar beat Sycamore by 11 I believe in OT. Sycamore hit a 3 that had the Bolivar fans in an uproar as the buzzer sounded to send it into OT. Because of a fan infront of me, I don't know if the the Sycamore girl's foot was on the line or she didn't get the ball off in time. I saw Rudesill jump up, and Sycamore cheering. But Bolivar hit freethrows down the stretch to win.
  14. Bolivar beat McNairy, but the score eludes me at the moment
  15. GT walk on. Gets a scholarship. That's what I secretly hope for.
  16. Can't you imagine someone asking Mitch "Where are you looking to go to school?" He replies: "Harvard, Yale, or UT Martin. I can't decide." Not knocking UTM, but it's just funny.
  17. I'm not sure what they are looking at him for, and frankly I bet he doesn't care. Harvard...Yale...that'll be impressive
  18. From what I've seen of him this year so far, he clearly shows the ability and athleticism. It is just a matter of time before he "gets it," and when he does, watch out.
