Westmoreland travels to TC this Friday, if I’m correct only one team will make the playoffs. Must win for both teams. TC seems to be finding their stride at the right time after a couple of the worst seasons in TC history. Westy coming off a defensive domination against Portland with some big positives on the offensive side of the ball as well. This has the potential to be a really good game.

Can Westmoreland figure it out for the last game at home this season? Portlands record seems like they are bad but their schedule has been pretty tough. With the exception of Greenbriar and Clay County the Panthers have played some really really good teams. Westy seems dead imo. No excitement, energy, or leadership being shown whatsoever by the few seniors we have. Time to let Perry run QB and move Rich to WR so we aren't in this same position next year. Also it's been time to let Todd carry the ball imo, he played 2 weeks and there was no answer for him from the opposing team and now he's not being used at all, hard to understand. I want to say Eagles win this game at home to win out for the rest of the season but I've not seen consistent play all year so it's hard to tell. Depends which team shows up!

I hope so cause that game was tight until about 4 minutes left and we fell apart. So if we can keep it close and finish the game we might have a chance!

Depends which team shows up. If we show up and play like we can and aren't predictable then we can keep it close and have another shot at an upset like we did with ER, if we show up like we did against Monterey well then, SC middle school may be playing the second half.

You are right, a lot of selfishness in some of the ER guys. Not all of them, just a couple.

I’ll say this for the middle tn area, at least Westmoreland games (home and away), the officials have been much better this year than years past.

Proud of our guys last night, no one gave em a chance, not even me, but they played hard all night long just let it slip away with the last few seconds. Should have never been one on one on that TD play but it happens… I know East is young but people don’t realize Westy is really young too. ER shot themselves in the foot quite a bit last night, holding, delay of games, block in the back, and the unsportsmanlike. Good team just not very disciplined, which shocks me a little bit. Hate that we lost it, but it was a really good game to watch, now we got two weeks to see if we can’t shock the world against them there owls!

Really? I feel like Brooks has changed the culture and expectation at ER. What do you think he is missing?

Ya know.... I'm honestly unsure. I mean I'm pretty sure I know the outcome but I don't know how bad. Been a weird season. As far as good as last year.... we should be better imo but we haven't played that way other than the Macon County game. I'm curious to see what changes are made tonight.

I agree. I'd like to watch the ER vs Monterey game and see what East struggled with so much.

After watching a little film I don't see a reason why we would even run the ball. The pass coverage was horrendous against Clay...

Talking to a couple of the ER kids this Monterey team is the best team they have played this year, and said they were very physical... I don't think they score more than twice on Westy so if we can keep the offense rolling I think Eagles take this one!

Westy can put this one away by halftime and get some even younger guys in if they come in and take care of business. If they over look them though, could bite them!

Eagles come off a big win last night against Heritage even with the injury bug in full swing. Lots of inexperienced guys played and played very well last night. Don’t know much about JC other than they didn’t seem to have an answer for Clay last night. I’m going to say the Eagles move to 3-1 this Friday but I won’t give a score until Wed.
