I am a realist... this game could go either way. It's going to be hot, later than normal, a lot of excuses to be made but I think it comes down to who can be mentally tougher. I am going to say this lightly but I think Westy is the better team just from the games I have seen. One thing that worries me is Clay Co. seems to like to throw the ball, hurt them against York but the QB throws a pretty ball. IMO it comes down to our line play, and how well we cover the med-long ball! Final prediction 24-13 Eagles!

None of them were kicked out, they walked off on their own... Directly from the kid that left and his dad that left after... "The ref told us we needed to speed up, then he told us we needed to slow down, both times he yelled at us like we were kids, I told him if he didn't quit talking to me like that he would do these chains his self because I would walk off, he said do it so I walked off, and then my dad walked off too.

I don’t know this for sure obviously, but I would say we schemed specifically for Borders…. #0 and #5 are really good players too, and they hurt us last night. Macon is solid up front too, I was impressed with their big men. #7 for Westy is sitting out when we play y’all though, so tell your coaches not to bother worrying about him.

No, our defense will be fine. One thing about Harris, if he sees a problem, he gets it fixed quick. Right now our issue is we are conditioned well enough to play both sides of the ball.

Better team won tonight… better size, and way better conditioned. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a Westy D lay down like some did tonight… Kade Perry made what seemed like 20 tackles tonight and that should never happen as a safety. Cut the penalties and hold on to the dang ball and it could have been a different game. Seen some positives though for sure. I’d say Matthew Martin will be seeing some more playing time, and some more of the young guys played well. Long season ahead, even though I hate that ugly blue, good luck on the rest of the year MC.

In watching them play over the years I truly believe Elijah is a better player than Taylor.... I am shocked at the hype that was around Taylor but not Elijah...
