Better team won tonight… SC run the ball and every player on there team run the ball hard! Bigger than I thought they were lol but I think our O line and D line got better tonight and didn’t play bad at all. Offensively, we are bad. Until we stop dancing instead of running the ball an ok defense is going to handle us. Also time to open up the playbook a little. I know it’s A non region game but just a little something different can’t hurt…. Surprised that we don’t use Law more the way he runs and also after the game Sizemore had last week him not getting a touched surprised me as well. Fishburn run the ball hard the time he got it…. Felt bad for our defense, they played the entire game. Oh well, behind us now, on to TC. Defense and line play definitely got better tonight. Good look to @Reynardand crew on the rest of the season.

I mean, am I wrong? I want them to win every game but let's be honest SC is probably the best team on our schedule... We shouldn't win this game but I think we can. You certainly have the edge with a line average of 6'7" and a predicted D1 quarter back....

Yeaaaa about that statement.... I had a brain mishap and completely forgot that there are other teams besides the ones I follow closely in middle TN lol. My bad!!! With that being said I am going to change my statement to "One of the best" for Westy and "Another great" for H20.

Here's my take... With SC size and stud of a QB they should win the game.... On the flip side, Westy has the best defense in the state in 2A (IMO) and just put up 20 against the 2nd best defense in 2A (also my opinion). If we keep the ball rolling like we did last week and play defense like we always do then Westy will win. So I say all of that to say if we win, its a big win against a really good team. If we lose, well it will suck but on paper we probably should... Good news is the games played on the field and the paper don't mean JACK!!!! Bring on them big boys and Joe Montana Jr!!!!

I agree. I think we underestimated them last year and got shocked. Hoping it's a different story this year!

He was the radio guy who had the right to be where he was due to calling the game on the radio... Stepped outside of the press box for a second and Westmoreland forced a safety, he cheered, and the rest is history.... there's rumors that he "threw punches" "was drunk or high" "was cussing and acting a fool"... Because I know him, and know who he is, I know for a fact he wasn't drunk or high, and speaking to someone who was right on top of the entire incident, after he cheered the cop told him to go to the other side, he told the cop I can watch the game from wherever I want, cop had little man syndrome so he didn't like that too much and decided he was going to show this fan who was boss... After the fan and cop had agreed that the fan would go to the Westmoreland side for the remainder of the game, once they got off the bleachers he was taken to the ground by 3 cops with their knees on him like he just shot the place up, another cop standing guard and then some administration man (principle, or AD not sure).

Solid when we know we have to prepare for it. 2 of our secondary starters are 2 or 3 year starters if I am not mistaken and then the other 2 are young 1st year starters but both good athletes. Very athletic secondary so I feel like they can get the job done but they haven't been tested this year... One thing that killed us against Portland was their little flank route they used.

This is what I will say... Our line play has drastically improved. On both sides of the ball. SC seems to like to throw the ball so I am curious how we will prepare. Moved the ball well last week against one of the best defenses in the state so I hope we continue that... Overall the question is can we hold up against their line, and can we stop their stud of a QB?? Ryan Harris is proved to be the best DC in 2A, so I would say he's got a plan for the iron man QB

Cmon mofo, you know that ain't the truth. Cop got mad that Westy got a safety and a dad was cheering for his son! Since I've been coming to HS games Macon county has always sat on both sides of the field, and court. Heck I had 6 or 7 Macon County fans sitting right in front of me at the same game, on the visitor side!!! Cop couldn't control his temper and realized he made a mistake after it was all said and done, that's why they uncuffed him!

About tonight! We have to do 3 things to beat H20... Keep the QB from running the ball all over the field (best running back IMO), Defend the pass well and keep them from completing their 5-7 yard passes, and score the football! If we do those then I think we win. I truly believe this year we have the better team, what I worry about is the mental aspect, its been a drought against Watertown for so long, I just hope the boys play with a chip on their shoulder! Can we get revenge from last season like we did week 1??????? WE WILL SEE! Safe travels to all you making the trip, we will see you up on the hill!
