So your telling me that Glenn White the last HC at Cloudland before Potter is a better coach than Witten? Are you saying that Pittman another HC who after leaving Cloudland came to Elizabethton to be a jv line coach is a better coach than Witten? Even lunsford sr as far as wins you can't argue his success and I'm not trying to but I'm just not completely sold he would have the same success in 4a.

Yeah I'm sure you have a few of those teachers everywhere. Its just what's best for you and yours. It has worked out good for my brother and his kids but that's not always the case I know county kids that tried it and ended up coming back.

I just think weight room accountability at Elizabethton is higher. You could skip the weights at Cloudland and still start I don't think you could at Elizabethton. Same as academics if you want to learn at Cloudland you absolutely can but also if you are a athlete and want to slack and get by you can. I did. You always have a few like yours who are willing to put in the work and do it right but that's not the case with the majority I don't think. You are closer to the program and know more of what it's like now than I do.

I don't know that he'll ever be as tough but he plays with more attitude than Corey did. I've saw Keith ready to kill Cade a few times when he coached him. Time will tell I think the biggest difference right now is opportunities.

Keith's twin brother Kevin is more like a dad than brother he pretty much raised me. Getting to watch Corey and Cade through youth club until now has been a pleasure.

I'm not bashing Cloudland or any players at Cloudland I use to be one of them. If Corey stays at Cloudland he doesn't become near the player he is now. The kids at betsy are learning the game at a whole different level than the kids at Cloudland more competition more resources etc. Also why would you want to use a kid like him to play teams like Hancock Unaka and Jellico. Even if he does stay and is lucky enough to win a 1a ring you still go into college behind imo because Cloudland isn't in the weight room before they're first class through the year or near as much in the off season or near the camps passing league etc. Besides all that the main reason he came to Betsy was academics and baseball. That's straight from the horses mouth. He's my nephew.

I picked the Devils to beat Betsy and they made me look like a fool but looking like a fool has never felt this good! I should have known better than to pick against my own team! Correct me if I'm wrong but the only injury for Betsy from the game was a kid cramping up? If that's the case this team will be hard to beat.

That's what I got to. The Devils seem to have stepped it up since the playoffs started. From what I've saw lately Betsy didn't get the Devils best game round 1 and maybe the Devils didn't get Betsy's best game either. I'll be pulling hard for Betsy though and wouldn't be shocked if they pulled it out.

I'm biased to Betsy and really want them to pull it out but my realistic prediction is Betsy 14 Devils 28

Also the '16 game Carter Everett was out with injury. Corey Russell played half the game with a gash on his throwing hand that took 3 stitches to close up after the game. 2 top guys 1 missing completely and the other not at 100% might have hurt some I don't know if it's a difference in winning or losing but had to effect it some.

One thing for sure Carter County has a ton of young talent. It will just be crazy to see where it will land in around 10 or so years.

I fully expect the 5-6 to breeze through but then again you never know with 5 and 6 yr olds. The 7-8s on the other hand have a little tougher road but if they show up and play like they can they'll win it all.
