  1. without a doubt these are the two best teams in Region 3 and 4, Region 3 is AWFUL, but that doesnt take anything away from Red Bank. Sequatchie matched up well with Red Bank, Really thought the lions would have a tough time stopping the run. But here's Sequatchies scores 1st- 71 yard because of bad leverage. (he got down to the 1) 2nd- 4th and 9 where the WR ran right by a defender looking in the backfield 3rd- A time consuming drive that all Red Bank did was keep the ball in front of them because the game was already over. ALl preventable stuff. Really thought Sequatchie might dominate the trenches, which did NOT happen
  2. so if RB stops one person they win? contrary to popular belief Red Bank has a lot more weapons than #5
  3. Upperman's schedule is not a whole lot better. Still most teams under .500 also Upperman wont be able to out athlete Red Bank, Something they have been able to do for the whole season
  4. lol. sense of humor i have, disrespect of two good football teams i do not.
  5. Crowds have been better this year. A lot of the crowd, (or lack there of) can be attributed to all the other available activities on a Friday night. At least in Chattanooga, not so much Dunlap.
  6. Quite a bit of disrespect toward Red Bank as well. also if i were to jump from some of these users arrogance to their football IQ, Id be committing suicide
  7. Red Bank's schedule was very weak this year. Just did the math 3 opponents (out of 9) were .500 or better during the regular season. Upperman had 4 at or above .500 Red banks combined opponents record 26-64. Uppermans 47-53 Both have played a fairly weak schedule. The difference is Upperman's region has better teams. McMinn central and sweetwater were AWFUL this year. Its hard to go undefeated, no matter who the opponent is. Props to both schools. excited for the rest of the games to pan out
  8. If the stars align and Red Bank plays Upperman. The Thread for that game will be poppin'
  9. Using any game is ridiculous. If you know football you know its all about matchups. Who knows what will happen. I just know it will be a competitive gun and fun to watch
  10. Red Bank dominated the first of the signal game. gave up 27 yards total. Signal then completely changed their offense at the half. Signal scored on their first drive to open the half and then on a big play the next drive. The game was not nearly as close as the score indicated. Red Bank D has given up some big plays, but most of them have happened when the mercy rule is in effect. Also Calvin Jackson did not play much in the signal games. HUGE difference maker
  11. Should be a very fun game to watch. And more than likely one that will happen for years to come. Both teams present challenges to each other that neither has seen prior to this week.
  12. would tend to agree. Which sets up a very intriguing QF matchup. Correct me if i am wrong. But to this point Upperman has out athleted everyone they have played correct?
  13. Excited for this one, You say probably the most athletic team Sequatchie has faced. Sequatchie is probably the most physical team Red Bank has face yet. Weather looks good so far. I know Dunlap will come to Red Bank for this one. I hope Red Bank can bring in a large crowd. Should be able to, Now that Signal's season is over. Despite their Impressive offense
  14. Red Bank's crowds have been a lot better this year. NOT GREAT, but better
  15. The Question is How many deep balls can Brainerd score on? And can they get off the field against the Wing T. Also, can Sequatchie tackle athletes in space?
  16. I agree. Best of luck to him and his staff. Sweetwater did not play with a lot of enthusiasm this year. I hope the new tenure can right the culture and have them competitive soon.
  17. Loudon is NOT better than Red Bank in any way. Those kids at Loudon gave their best shot and played a heck of a game, but they are not better. The refs did not call a terrible game. But they missed false starts from Loudon, missed late hits on Loudon. They did not miss anything on Red Bank, in fact they called phantom holds, a PI (that was thrown after the ball was incomplete), another PI (that was NOT thrown by the official closest to the play), and they called an iffy Taunting. (at best) In a evenly matched game the refs would have made an impact on the game. which is a shame
  18. Smith's offense can give anyone in Red Bank's region trouble, simply because of their scheme. This region does not see this a lot. But Red Bank should be able to play assignment football and handle them.
  19. Dont know what game you watched. Loudon scored on 2 pass plays over 50 yards. One was a jump ball and the other was terrible tackling by Red Bank. Their third score was generated off of 2 DPI calls. 1 of those was face guarding. (which is legal in HS). Guess you did not know that until today. The other PI call was not called by the official directly in front of the play, it was called by the official on the line of scrimmage. Total penaltes Loudon -2 Red Bank - 13 Loudon is not a bad team, They played emotional and physical. Everything went right for them in the first half. Just like everything went wrong for Red Bank in the first. The second half was more indicative of the two teams talent levels Great game. was fun to watch
  20. better. Excited to see the potential quarter final game between Upperman and Red Bank. winner gets the privilege to host a Tornado
  21. Hold them out of the playoffs? Suspend them? for what. free speech?? ridiculous
  22. side note. These two teams were the old stomping grounds of the late great Coach Tim Daniels. he spent a decade on both sidelines and led both teams to a tremendous record over that span. A great coach and great man. Red Bank wins by mercy rule
  23. lol. I missed an assumption. November football is such a beautiful thing
  24. don't think thats worth a lot. York is ahead of sequatchie. both are 7-2 and sequatchie beat them h2h
  25. assuming upperman wins, and sequatchie get past brained. that will set up an intriguing rematch between the squatch and red bank. a LOT of good matchups this year in these 2 regions. Signal has rattled 6 off in a row after starting 0-4
