I would agree that it gives you a better crop to choose from but then you have the Alcoa's in the world who regularly beat the brakes off big 6a schools. This is not to start an argument on how they do it, but rather they do.

I'm wondering why the swab has to go up into your brain? They can get the same sample from inside your cheek or in your throat. So why do you have to stick that swab to the innermost reaches of a person's brain?

Its stupid....I've had my season tickets for over 25 yrs. Might not mean anything to anyone but me but it's not fair to force me to give my seat up after all this time without some recourse. Cause we all know that the majority of the time, after little johnny is gone and little susie isnt in the band anymore, they dont come to the games. I know it sounds selfish, but its the way I feel. I just hope the school doesn't go that route. You'll piss off a lot of people who over the years have built you that fieldhouse, and that turf in the stadium and that parking lot the band has and the list goes on and one and one. Say Mr Pals, we appreciate you giving us that $75,000+ titantron over there but beings you don't have kids in the band or playing football, you can't buy your season tickets you've had for 50+ years. Yeah, that'll go over well

A good friend of mine had this analogy (BTW, he is a microbiologist). "Catching Covid is a bad thing but I think it's worse for athletes. See, Athletes train a lot and their bodies are tuned for performance. That is good for them as it makes them perform better. BUT all that training had a adverse effect too. Its like a formula racecar vs an old ford pickup. Yes, the racecar is faster and performs better than the truck but if you pull one of the spark plug wires on the racecar, it's performance goes further down the scale than if you pull one of the truck sparkplug wires. That's why when one of these athletes goes down with an injury, the same injury to you and me wouldn't be as bad on us." so dont be an ahole and come back with a smart #### remark.
