Greeneville has state tournament experience cause they were there last year and made it to the semifinals. I think this gives the Devils the edge. Greeneville 50-49 on a game winning shot by Meagan Lyons.

I would love to see them bring home the gold ball this year. It would be the first state championship for any team from Greeneville in the 3 major sports(football, basketball, and baseball). They have a shot but they have to play the best ball that they've ever played and hope that Mt. Juliet gets beat or plays bad or something.

As a greeneville fan i do want to congratulate jefferson county on a great season. All those games with greeneville were awesome. You all are a very classy team and coach potts is a great coach.

I think that it's funny that Dyersburg and Greeneville play in the first round of the state AAA tournament. Both of these schools have under 1000 students and should be in AA anyway. It is really a feat for these little schools to make it when they have to play much bigger schools. Way to go girls, represent the little schools well.

everybody in greeneville better head down to murfreesboro on thursday. That was a great defensive effort by the devils. i bet that no team this year has played as good of defense against keke stewart as ghs did in that first half. i think she only scored 3 points in the first half but i'm not sure. Way to go girls, we are very proud of you.

I agree that Manuel has been playing great this tournament. She's been a force down low for Greeneville. But, think how good she could be if she gave 100%. She could easily be a miss basketball finalist with her size and strength down low.

regardless of the coaches, it's the players that will decide the game on saturday. I'm interested in seeing what greeneville will do to stop keke stewart down low and what oak ridge will do to stop meagan lyons from pulling up jumpers all day.
