Where are his Championships? Lottery Ticket? Lots of fools play the Lottery. He didn't win any as a player because he went to FC like mac and has only been a position coach until he ran that high powered offense of RHS. They couldn't even beat a last place team in 5A FC. Don't give me the "it was a new school" bit. They had athletes and linemen! Look at nolensville. They couldn't beat the bottom feeders in CC, WC, FC or Siegel. At least mac beat the teams he should have and one little upset over Trent Dilfer. I just hope the athletes stay. I don't want to hear if the athletes hadn't left we would have been.......but then if they stay and we do not win.....oops!! That would be on coaching! Should be fun to see what happens

Lots of hires in LC have been coming from Alabama lately.

This will be a good ole boy hire like Mac! The only reason this job is viable is because of a few athletes. That will be gone soon.

I heard if they hire one of the applicants at FC the twins and 2 others are gone? it is a coach with no Head Coaching experience from Rutherford County. hate to see this class break up. lots of talent any truth to that?

Off the field and on the field problems for Mac 100% Everywhere he has been. Off the field and on the field problems for Greg 0% Class Two of Greg's 4 seasons were winning records with playoff teams. First two years struggled and then made improvement. I'm sure 5-5 is a winning record for Mac at FC with no playoffs. First two years 5-5 last year 4-6 no improvement. I'll take 47% if that is how you want to put it much better than 48% when you break it down.

I am pretty sure the latest got FIRED because of more things off the field then on the field! Drain the swamp! I guess you can stand up for that too? I think the baseball coach had great success. Took a better paying job in Georgia. The Basketball coach took a higher paying job in the boro and was from the boro to begin with. I do not think Insell could get another job in High school game. Greg Mantooth won in football with a lot less talent. If I am correct Lisa Crabtree is an AP at the high school now and a huge FC supporter.

Britt is a great coach and a better person! I don't know of any kid that didn't enjoy playing for him! I have no issue with Britt. Great person and coach.

Britton did not quit!! He was fired! I know you are a fan from the glory days of Gary. Britt did great things at Riverdale. Old admin was different. I know Britt. Britt is a very good line coach, great assistant. Kids love him. This is a new Super, new A.D. and new principal. They would like a person with character and class to run the program. Someone young men will follow and learn from. Take the coaches knowledge to the field and be the coach on the field for him. Not someone over barring, egomaniac, paranoid of everyone and everything. People gravitate to a leader. He doesn't have to tell people to follow him. He does his job and people just fall in line. Discipline to the point where it is consistent not abusive. Getting onto people without cutting people down using abusive language and calling them names to make him feel bigger about himself. Kids have to believe in you not be told to believe in you or told how good you are at your job. They will recognize it when it happens. Kids are a blank book. They will learn what you teach them, talk to them and show them. The admin at FC gave Mac every opportunity to succeed. I guess Macs firing had nothing to with wins and loses! But in Mckrylon fashion he screwed it up. Bear Bryant could win there! The right person with this admin will win here too.

Yes it is the same guy that painted the field-house, stole playbooks and punched a school member at Moore county. Long list that follows him.

This is exactly what I thought would happen when they hired mac. I tried to stop it two years ago but it didn't happen. Only two people made this hire and it is blowing up in their face. We had several good people to hire and we went for the troubled child.
