One of the main dunkers to come through Summertown was Chris Kidd. In his four years he dunked numerous times. I could be wrong, but I feel like one game his senior year he dunked 2 or 3 times.

Why didn't Johnny Mendez play in this one? I wasn't there, but I heard he sat it out.

This definitely has the potential to be the best game played in District 12A for the whole entire season. Summertown sure is playing good ball right now. I think it will be one we won't forget for a long time. Go Eagles!

The scoreboard says that LCHS is hosting. Does that mean just because it's tourny so Shelbyville doesn't have to be the home team, or does it mean that it will be at Law.Co.?

sandlotjunkie, apparently worrying about the refs hasn't been such a bad idea. it's got us a lot farther than ya'll, hasn't it?

First of all, Perry Co. won by one. It was a great game by both teams. Summertown really showed up in this one. I don't know where in the world they got the refs at, but they need to go back where they came from. Coach Trotter and the Summertown fans definitely have something to be upset about. The call that was made right at the end of the game was horrible, and time should have been put back on the clock. It seems funny to me that the clock didn't sound until the ball had already hit the top of the board, but the foul was for a shove that happened about 8 ft. from the goal. Shouldn't time have been put back on the clock? Perry Co. is good, but definitely not worth a #1 seed in the state. If they're #1, then Summertown is right behind them. If we meet again in district, don't be surprised if the outcome is different.

Does anyone know what ended up happening with the two fans from C'Wood and the cops? What did they do to be escorted out? I was just wondering if it's a zero-tolerance policy now, or if it was a drawn out ordeal.

Trotter had great reason to seem upset about the loss. The boys all missed some key shots, including several foul shots that would have put Summertown on top. Also, who wouldn't be upset about the call on Cody James in the last few seconds that cancelled the winning basket? Anyway, great game to Summertown. We'll hopefully get them next time.

Is it true that Jason Burleson is now on the coaching staff for Lawrence Co? If so, how is it working out? Also, can you tell us anything about an upperclassman named Jason? What is he looking like so far this year?

Can anyone tell us about the game last night? Must have been a pretty good game according to the final score.

Has anyone seen Ashton White, a jr. from Summertown play? That kid is amazing. He can hit anything from behind the arc. Also the jr. from Forrest is very talented. He rarely misses.

Could someone who was there at the GC/LC game please fill those of us who were not there in on what happened, and what you all are talking about by saying that the LC boys were trying to take out some GC players? Were they really trying all that hard, or were they just playing a rough defense? And who was it that did it?

Does anyone know what made Trotter change his mind and stay for this season as head coach? We all thought he was leaving...Great game tonight. The boys are looking really good and are extremely hard working. Maybe he made a wise decision by staying.
