It is an amazing record both for Baylor and for Jimmy. It is important to note that Jimmy was the assistant coach in 97' when they won state. I don't think he coaching at all in 98' when they were DII runner-ups. In any case, he has built an excellent resume.

Number8, I don't know what kind of indoor you are refering to, but you may want to be careful. Once the high school season has started (Feb 14), you are prohibited from playing in any games outside of high school soccer. There are very few exceptions (ODP is one) and the penalty is ineligibility,

Where did you get all of the schedules? For example, you have Notre Dame #1 in A/AA, but they only have 5 games listed on Eurosport.

Let me clear this up. We (Catholic) are scrimmaging Farragut Tuesday March 7th at 4:30. We are scrimmaging Science Hill on Thursday, March 9th at 5:30. Both practice games will be played at Catholic. About 8 posts back, Liverpool mistakenly wrote that the Farragut scrimmage was on Thursday. That post created a little confusion. I have verified the game times with both coaches. Can we please move on?

Hey now, let's slow down. Nothing has started yet. We have played fairly well in two practice games. We haven't won anything. Both of our opponents have subbed frequently and moved players around. We have done the same. We are glad to be playing well, but we have to improve in many aspects of the game.

Yeah, it's pretty tough but we should be prepared come March and beyond. We're not so much interested in results, just getting better. Remember, the Indianapolis Colts went something like 1-5 in the preseason before winning 13 straight.

It must be a "camp". I know that individual teams are allowed a week of camp before the season starts as long as the school's coaching staff is not involved. I do not know if competition against other schools is permitted. I will assume it is if there are a handful of schools participating.

Here is a "did you know" type fact for A-AA competition: A-AA was created for soccer in 1996. Notre Dame competed in A-AA in 96' and 97' before moving to DII. During those seasons, ND was undefeated against A-AA opponents and won two state championships before moving to DII (where they reached the state semis in 98' but have not returned to state since). In addition, ND knocked off Knox Catholic (the other A-AA addition) in the semifinals on their way to both A-AA titles. ND is undefeated all-time in A-AA competition. That record may have stood forever, but it will now be put to test this year. It should be an exciting season.

ND has two A/AA state titles back in 96' and 97' They went to the DII semi-finals in 98' (first year in DII). Since then, they have had solid to good teams that have not been able to break through past the other East teams. This years team and the one they had two years ago are probably the best they've had since the late 90s.

Fat Cow, If you're so much better than East Tennessee Soccer, why are you going to an East Tennessee school. Please don't tell me that LMU recruits internationally because I know that already. They are also obligated to take a few Americans and it's easy to pick up some practice players in Knoxville.

Radius, It is unfortunate that you would make that comment. These are high school kids that have been labeled as NATIONAL CHAMPIONS by their fans and coaches. Some of the current players contributed to the last two years, but many did not. Farragut is a very good team. You will be hard pressed to find anybody in the state that has played a tougher schedule. Farragut will be fine. Their biggest problem is living up to the past two years. As soon as the players and coaches realize that they are not the same team, they will be very dangerous. They are very talented and I would hate to see their season fall apart due to unrealistic expectations.

Is there not a TSSAA rule that prohibits playing with ANY other team during the official high school season?
