lol...you are soooo far off base. 'We don't have the passion like 02'...the US and the African teams probably have the most passion than anyone out there. The European and South American players are the ones w/o passion(France, Spain, ITALY, Argentina, Portugal...) Those guys don't really care about the WC, its just another game to them, and if they lose, they might get booed for a week and then people will forget about it and they will go back to their high-profile teams with their huge contracts and movie-star wifes... My point is that this is the only time the US has the only chance to show themselves and prove themselves...this chance alone will make them play with more passion than anyone..

pal, u just dont get it. Did you even watch our own state tourney? things happen that cant be explained. Teams are beaten by other teams when the team that was beaten was so much stronger. We already have the whole world against us, at least we Americans should stick together.

this is the best Italian team in years! HA! EVERY expert says this is the worst Italian team ever. yes ever. They play without passion, and the talent of the individuals is more important to them than the overall success of the team. The Czechs are no more talented then the US, and they are constantly battling with injuries, which will kill team chemistry. Ghana is the best african team? They were going to put Freddy Adu on the starting team, if that tells you something. No, no Ivory Coast and Tunisia are much better. And Essien is as overrated as they come, 1 goal in his entire premiership career. He is another 43 million pound mistake. You obviously dont pay attention to now, you just look at a name and pee your pants. 'Oh no, Italy! the Czechs!' Just names that dont mean a thing, the US can play with these teams. And the mere fact that your name is 'arsenalisgarbage' should discredit everything you say since they went to the Champions League Final.

I believe that this was a post for only teams that were in "the dance". Hint hint, the state tourney, which portland did not participate in.

In my honest opinion, I don't really know soccer, but I do know a lot of sports in general. Strategy is the main part of ANY game. Look at the 1980 Olympics when USA beat USSR, we certainly weren't more talented than them, but we beat them. I believe winning is in these percentages: 45% planning, 35% fitness, 15% heart, and 5% luck. Now, if a team has hardly any planning or coaching, then that is when talent takes over. You can also substitute talent for heart, as shown by Terrell Owens. If you can get a team who has all of these percentages and then add in talent, you have a team like the New England Patriots or Brazil, for you soccer people. Congrats, Bearden. You are the best team in AAA. You may not be the most talented, but you are the best. I love the soccer board, I may be on here more next season.

How does it look next year??

I just cant believe that Haywood is that good after only beating covington and trenton 3-2, so I just figure Madison is overrated. I dont think they win this district this year and I think they will lose to sheffield in the region semis. Sorry fellas, yall just are getting too many injuries and the chemistry just wont be there come tournament time.

aight so, did Madison just proved to everybody they are pretenders or did Haywood prove to be for real? I think that there are some flaws to this madison squad, I dont think they have a keeper and injuries are hurting them badly. My opinion, without a keeper, I dont think they get past offensive teams like Haywood and Sheffield. I think they dont think they get to sub-state. Too many injuries and no keeper.

Ozzie Johnson, what are you talking about? I mean how can you say that Dyersburg is overrated? Dyersburg is a solid team and, other than Sheffield, may be the best team in the west in AA. I would watch out who you are calling overrated..its not wise to call a team out who has all that talent, age, speed, and strength...Having 9 starting seniors DOES matter, they have all been playing and gaining experience for the past two years. Yeah, they haven't proved anything in the past except for winning the district last year...but Dyersburg has been relatively young these years and very rarely are you going to be really good with majority freshmen and sophomores and juniors on the field...and I know that 6 of those 9 seniors have signed with colleges to continue playing, and I think the other 3 are considering offers but haven't committed...my point is that the season hasn't even started. dyersburg and USJ were very even in the jamboree and dyersburg was missing 2 of their starters including their keeper, who WOULD have made that save at the end of the game.

How do you think Haywood is going to do in the region/district?

Just because they are all foreign doesn't mean they have more talent, i think USJ and Dyersburg have more talent and play better as a team...and thats hard for me to say since I'm from JCM

Yeah, it is easy to type how good your team is gonna be on here and how amazing your players are ... my experiences with coacht have been the team with a big mouth talking his team up always has been the team that did horrible...and the better they sound on coacht, the worse they do on the field and Maryville sounds like Chelsea on this thing...I was wondering who the goat that was gonna talk his team up so big was gonna be this year and it sounds like Black Messiah is the big mouth and Maryville is gonna be the team...maybe they will be something but I seriously doubt it
