Wow I honestly can't believe you are saying the student section of a school doesn't make any difference in a basketball game?!?! That's insane!! You cannot convince me that a bunch of loud, standing, screaming fans as oppose to the crickets chriping; doenst make a difference at a high school basketball game, or any basketball game for that matter. Ask Charlie Morgan if he thinks the student section has any factor in a game... absolutely it does. Talent is talent, but cheering pumps the team up even more. Which is exactly what we'll be doing tonight!!!

I agree with most everything you said except for "third of all". If you have went to any of the games Central has played, this includes Volunteer, East, and Crockett, the student section stood the entire game no matter what. We have one of the best student sections around and we take EVERY game seriously. The student section even stood up the whole time during the Sullivan North game last week! That's showin some love. I disagree with ya on that. I think the student section plays a major part on a teams success. DB students really should've been more cheerful especially at Districts cause look what almost happened...

Does anyone know the score of the Cherokee/Jefferson County game yet???

Weeeeeell if you folks will notice, oh, about the 3rd post down, I WAS congratulating the Bulldogs on their victory. I didn't know I would get a 5 page history lesson but obviously I pressed some of your buttons I could care less about what you all think of Sullivan Central or our fans. We came out on the better end of the deal after all... and oh yes how I wish we could have a rematch with the Blue Devils. The Cougars would embarrass you all. Your schedule compared to ours is pie. We would be state champs this year if we were still AA, We had a rematch with Bolivar Central at Arby's this year and we were ahead by 3 at the half!!! I will give Ike Weaver some credit though, he can ball.

Exactly, players were fouling out left and right (thanks to the refs). Sensebaugh had a very impressive night, he had what, the first 13 or so points for his team? JoJo Throp on the other hand is not one of my favorites. He's is a little to big for his britches I think. I don't hate DB, DB is a great ball team. I just don't like a few specific players, but hey that's with every school I guess and everyone has their opinions. I didn't say that the refs almost handed Central the loss, but I will say that the refs were terrible!!! Would not call a walk and other little things for nothing!! Just all around not very good officiating. I think the DB/ Central game will be an exciting game tomorrow night. I hope for a big crowd.

Whatever dude... I do not go to games to wait around in the parkin lot to fight. I go to cheer on my MIGHTY COUGARS. (we did beat you all 3 of the 4 games) And BIG BOY is right. Science Hill has one big boy on their team and it's Omar Wattad without him what do they have?? I'm pretty sure the GIRLS who were chased by you redneck elephant hangers didn't open their mouth once other than to cheer on our team.

Because Unicoi County fans acted like a bunch of redneck idiots last year and everyone knows it. Chasing Central fans (high school junior GIRLS I might add) in their cars after the games wanting to fight?? That is some high class right there!! I won't even get into everything that happened up there. The past is the past and Central is up with the big boys in the Big 9 now.

I agree... Volunteer really played awesome and the refs blew it for them at the end. And how about the DB student section?? Sat the ENTIRE game and finally stood up at the end when Volunteer had them scared. Was a good game though. Coty Sensabaugh had a great night. Science Hill had a blowout and South got the big win over Tennessee High. Central had me scared for a while but we pulled through. Great job Hess and Gabe! Nate Dinkel made several key shots and Phil made some good passes. McCoy hustled as always. Can't wait for Tuesday night.

hah? Say that reminds me, when we have places such as DB's new dome, Viking Hall and others, why are they having districts at South this year? I gonna love the short drive but parking and seating will be tight. Everyone better get there early because they'll be turning away people at the door I'm sure. Especially Saturday night...
