All I will say is the rumors I had heard prior to this had nothing to do with child abuse or neglect. I really hope these are just allegations and nothing more.
Pretty sure they were related to this. Prob a butthurt parent whose kid didn’t make varsity and they have tried 3 times now to be investigated. We shall see what happens in the end but if these are tied to the idiot that continues to make “anonymous” allegations, I hope they can get sued til they no longer own anything in their life!
also one big reason I no longer teach or coach, had a friend back in the day that had allegations made, spurned girlfriend who tried to make his life heck twice! Almost cost him his job and being suspended wasn’t a good time for him because with this stuff it’s guilty until proven innocent. Sorry, but having to handle kids with gloves so much now days makes it not even worth it, I thought about coming back and volunteering for free because I love the sport, but no way I can coach these kids like Henry used to do back in the day and so no reason for me to want to be back on the mat.

Should hear the results soon of this nothingburger. This kind of stuff is the reason I quit teaching and coaching. Parents get all butthurt and when things don’t go their way they feel the need to make life miserable for others.

Elite is what they call that group since they wanted to split it off from the beginners and then pay Jake peanuts and David wanting to get paid what most wished they made in their full time job, not counting private lessons he keeps all the money for. So I’m just going by the elite label they were getting under the academy banner instead of just staying all under SDWC.
and you are right greed is going to kill the program unless they can get it all under control which is sad since they are showing success.

I haven’t seen any news reports of anything but maybe I’m blind. I did hear about their elite coach leaving because he wasn’t going to be paid as much as he thought he was worth. But hadn’t heard of an investigation yet.

Yeah, plenty of people were taping finals matches EVEN if their kid wasn't one in those matches, if you think differently I don't know how you get up in the mornings!
Yes, I am a big fan of fake wrestling and don't care to give away my identity Strain! It's cobrakid as I don't care to hide behind a screen name like some on here! Also I did enjoy fake wrestling, Like wrestlinggod I got to travel some of the country and not pay a dime to do so, got to meet guys like AJ Styles and a few others that went to WWE. Had plenty of friends that did it with me that ended up getting to do stuff like walking out as Roman soldiers when Triple H came out at Wrestlemania in Atlanta. Spent some good time in Chattanooga getting to help put up the ring and such before WWE and WCW before they went out of business. Sadly your entire life is built only on wrestling and that is kind of sad. I love the sport and gave back to it for years, most of that time as a volunteer spending MANY hours a week helping coach, however it was never my entire life, so instead I get to hang out with my son and his interests but also get to race drag cars, spend money on other toys and now bought a car for my son that we have been spending many hours fixing up to be his first car when he turns 16.
So yeah, many people taped those finals matches and many of us got to watch that exact match. Sorry if you don't have enough friends to know someone that did tape and can let you watch it! Sadly Zac made a mistake and it cost him a possible state title. Of course since you know Soddy so well, maybe ask Henry next time you see him what he says about a referee costing you a match. He will say to take it out of the referee's hands and get it done yourself!

He has no friends, so it would be significantly hard for him to do something with people who are imaginary! Also for rasslinking(since you wanted to use that name on here and aren't smart enough to know Rasslin IS sports entertainment and wrestling is 2 different things) you named yourself that and if you are to dumb to know the difference maybe a new name would suite you best!
There were plenty of people there that taped the match BESIDES the one that was shown on here and they just didn't post those on the internet to be removed. Also some people seem too blind to see things correctly (like the referee, his helper and plenty of others that watched the same video posted on here) and at that point I pray they don't drive with those same eyes! Some people also were able to watch it on NFHS network, I don't think it went down for everyone so Flowrestling wasn't the one to carry the match at that time. I paid for NFHS and it wouldn't allow me to sign into FLO to watch the matches.
Pretty cool wrestlinggod you got to do that stuff outside of regular wrestling, especially considering many good actual wrestlers did pretty well in sports entertainment. Heck Cody Runnels (Rhodes) was a state champ down in Georgia and has made a very good living doing that backyard stuff LOL. Gordie Ray that wrestled at East Ridge did ok also and Brock Lesnar, so have plenty of others and also those now signed to developmental contracts from the NCAA pipeline!

I distinctly stated Cleveland is a top 50 nationally school. Also head2head I have Cleveland pulling a very tight match out against Buford, Buford gets more pins for sure and Buford is strongest where Cleveland is weakest, so to beat out Cleveland Buford would have to win the 3 toss ups that I have. However it's very hard to use Individual tournament team scores as a basis on top teams. That's why Iowa doesn't do team scores at all, they say its because in an individual tournament teams don't matter because there's rarely head to head and in the end seeding comes into play more and not having full line-ups. Buford even if kids are sick or injured(which is why Pope didn't make the Knockout tourney) would send someone out to try and trim some points if it was head2head, at an individual tournament that was travel they wouldn't do the same thing. So, YES Cleveland had success this season in individual tournaments, but that's comparing apples to grapes when it comes to actual strength of a full team. I mean Bishop McCourt rarely wrestled individual tourneys with a full lineup, but they did when they got beat in state duals, so when looking at some of those tournaments like Powerade, Carnahan and Knockout even some of the other top 50 schools in the country didn't bring a full compliment of wrestlers, but when wrestling state team duals they had full 14.

South Dade NOR Buford had 14 wrestlers down at Knockout. Again individual tournaments are a joke to keep team scores at to begin with, however if everyone wants to keep bringing those up as a basis for beating a top 50 team you have to at least look at what happened.
So yeah maybe Cleveland head2head can win those matches(I actually have them winning 8 of 14 WC, but only winning 28-27 and I gave Cleveland 2 of the 3 tossups I had for them). So Cleveland might win but they also very well lose both matches to those 2 teams. As I said they are a top 50 team, but how far up is the real question because top 50 is still impressive. South Dade was missing a kid that was a state placer from the year before(and probably again this year since they wrestle states this weekend) and even with only 13 they still almost beat Cleveland(lost by 4.5 pts and lost 1 pt for unsportsmanlike). Buford lost to Camden this season in both duals and individuals, but Buford also was missing 5 wrestlers at Knockout. 3 of those were state placers and 1 was a defending state champion before getting to semis of state this year and got beat 9-8 while he was winning 7-3 going into the last period and gave up 2 sets of 2pt NF and a TD to get beat 9-8 and medically forfeited out of the tourney. I think Buford gets at least 3-4 pins and that keeps them close in a dual, however I also give Cleveland the win at 113 and that is a toss up since Walker beat him 3-1 at knockout and also gave them 126 with Bosken against K McCormack who wasnt at Knockout and placed 2nd in state like Bosken did.

It's going to be a long long time before any AA public school is going to catch Cleveland. Private schools might have a shot and Soddy might be able to matchup well to them (prob as well as any AA public school can) but private schools might be the only TN teams that can compete against Cleveland within the next 10 years and maybe even longer. They have a factory there now that is just spitting out top notch wrestlers and I don't see that stopping anytime soon, even if they were to lose Bosken or Knox or both!

what would those results be nationally as a team that show you all belong? I didnt see any dual results against a top 50 team in the country and individual tournaments for the most part arent looked at for top 50 team placement because 3-4 top wrestlers can carry a team in a individual tournament while true strength is shown in both your varsity AND your JV depth. Now I have no issues saying to me Cleveland is a top 50 program 100%. Now where they actually land within that top 50 is anyone's guess. I think 42-46 is probably about it but for now that is better than any other TN team is doing.

No, as I said serious question and I had no idea what grade he was in. As far as comp I’m pretty sure he won at Tulsa so no insinuation of afraid of comp. I tried to be nice and that’s what I get I guess for being so.

So serious question and not our usual BS. Why is Trey wrestling jr’s and not MS? Is he a 5th or 6th grader and is it not allowed as I figured it would be better competition for him to wrestle up? Good luck to him this weekend and I will quit mentioning your son after this post, I just wanted to know how that works? So good luck to him and to you, I think I’m going to get back to my regularly scheduled program now that wrestling(high school) season is over. It was all fun and games guys, enjoy life and I’ll talk to you all in October right before season starts! Also you all seem like great fathers and ones I would be proud to have myself when I was growing up!

We all know you said you have no dog in the fight but we also all know you are lying and you are part of Cleveland wrestling! Who needs to be ashamed are those Cleveland fans and parents who cant admit a kid made a mistake and it COST him a possible state title. If he doesnt grab the shoe and sock and use it to his advantage he most likely gets taken down instead of holding those things and keeping Heflin from being able to fan his leg away and covering Zac for the TD!

I dont think D2 does but D1 A and AA do seed based on must be sectional champ AND prior state placement during wrestlers career. After that it is blind draw and if someone from a sectional is seeded the 4th place from that same sectional will be on same side of bracket as the seeded wrestler with 2 and 3 from sectional blind drawed on the other part of the bracket.
