Y'all jumped my case cause I said Meigs player was helping stretch a GB player then the other Meigs player jerked him away and said some choice words and I said it was bad sportsmanship. My god I have seen a heck of a lot worse sportsmanship than that before. One that comes to mind was a kid from SP. DJ Robinson I believe was his name. I feel like he was constantly getting in fights on the field. Young man has passed on now but that was horrible flat out horrible sportsmanship. A few years back a GB player I'm thinking silver or silvy was last name maybe made a blind side block on sp player. Uncalled for yes totally legal at the time yes. GB went on to win that game if I recall correctly.

Yes I am a SP/ sequatchee valley supporter and follower. Yes I did graduate from SP. Yes I assure you I heard what I heard from the player. Yes there is another poster on here that was within 5 yards on me that also heard the same I did. Regardless that's just how I feel about the sportsmanship. Could be totally different kid off the field. On another note a different poster said something and stirring people up, well I'm stirring the pot trying to get a little going but no one is chiming in so I guess there is no more fun and games with that.

Vs GB. Lineman had hands on hips. I also seen a Meigs kids try to help on of GB players stretch when his was on the ground GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP!!!!!! On the other hand saw Swafford come over to the teammate jerk him back and tell him "Don't you F****** help him". That there my friend really put him down on my list. He also had a noticeable limp during the 2nd half. Any insight on that?

From the past boards reading as a guest before deciding to join and throw my 2 cents in I really like the way SP responds to being a under dog. Most recent example was last year in North marion county against the whitwell dream team. SP got beat hands down. Then playoffs roll around and they were a underdog and came out and hit the dream team in the mouth took them to double O.T. some miracle catches were made and SP lost but I think they will come out and hit Meigs in the mouth. If QB diesnt take care of the ball better there will be a few fumbles. Seen a lot of Meigs boys with hands in their hips earlier this year. Have yet to see SP with hands on their hips who knows. I will give a prediction tomorrow during warm ups. Might get blasted but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Hope the refs let the boys play ball but the zebras get flag happy at beene stadium alot.

No disrespect to him as he is a good back but did not stand out as well as other back I have seen and with Swafford on the field. Without the QB on the field then he may stand out, but again i have seen many come through the sequatchee valley.

We will see if this undersized speedy 1A team of SP can keep with with a larger sized 2A team with a proven veteran QB. Game will be won in the trenches PERIOD. SP kids size look small compared to a lot of schools they play but the kids will surprise you. Meigs have a large line for sure. The couple games I watched Meigs they didn't play their best. The RB that game is shifty but nothing special. Contain the QB and maybe put a spy on him and SP wins. Easier said than done. SP Dbs need to also have a spectacular game or they will get burned. Meigs will have to play smart and watch the misdirections along with containing the edges. SP Qb is starting to click on timing with the WR in stride. So Meigs can't focus solely on run. Either way Beene Stadium will be rocking. Nothing like games of the past I have watched. Game could be so close it's not worthy to give a prediction. SP plays at home but Meigs being a much larger school males that even so the spread for this game in my book is 0.
