  1. I believe MC hasn’t had a full roster since week 3. Quarantine has hit them again this week with more starters out. This will be a very brutal game for MC. Rain will be MC’s best factor tonight.
  2. I believe MC has the better team this year, I’m not sure who Springfield is missing that would have helped them any, i know MC is down their linebacker and #38 is “hurt” but truthfully both are equally matched teams and it was going to come down to the last possession. MC is very young, and I’m sure Springfield is young. But MC beat a heavy senior loaded Creekwood team and now beat Springfield. Being fair here, i see that MC is best in the region if they keep playing the way they do. That early loss helped their young guys keep their feet on the ground. We will see how the playoffs go for them guys (being inexperienced in playoffs) but if their defense keeps playing the way they are and the offense keeps the ball like that did against Springfield, i see them making it a few games deep. BUT THIS IS MY OPINION ON THEM. Playoffs is a different dog fight and we will see how our region does. We are loaded with GREAT football teams.
  3. The better team won. Simple. All we can hope for is a rematch in the playoffs.
  4. Central will be hard for Springfield to bring down this year. Last year was the game of the year, but this year I do believe MC offense is to powerful for the Springfield Defense to stop. MC also has proven their defense can make big stops. They are young but are playing sound football on both sides of the ball. Springfield lost to much talent last year and didn’t get enough back to make this a win. I do look for a hard fought region game though. If MC can avoid getting dreadful penalties then my thoughts are MC 21 Jackets 17
