M. Stevenson is definately one of the best backs in the state. He runs behind a less than average size offensive line. His quick cuts and blazing speed allow him to run all over teams. The past two games, the only wins of the season, Stevenson has rushed for over 150 a game. Not to mention he plays on both sides of the ball.

As a South-Doyle student, one with his shirt off, I believe that Charlie 5's comments are getting to be pretty ridiculous. He obviously has little knowledge of the game or program. I have not seemed to notice the language that you speek of coming from the student section. Maybe you should concentrate on the game and your beliefs instead of sitting close enough to the student section to hear a word everyonce and awhile. Why would you bring the area you live in into this conversation? Just because you may be the basic trailor trash that you speak of does not mean the majority of the South Knoxville residents are. The spirit in the school and in the stands seems to be at an all-time high to me. Yes, some of our students did rush the field early, but maybe that just symbolizes the excitement that has been built up since the last win. We have always been there and will always be there to support our team. If you are so down on the school and town, why do you manage to show up for games? Try staying at home next Friday night. I definately believe the spirit will not suffer too badly without you. Oh, the outfits and cheering do help to build excitement in the game. It helps to build adrenaline and excitement in the game. Maybe you should move. Just a thought though. Oh and by the way, call the numbers that were on our backs last game if you have a problem. I am sure we, especially me, would be happy to address your concerns. Thanks for your time!

SD beat Seymour, I know not impressive, 4-2 tonight. We looked good with Nathan Burns scoring 3 goals, Neil Johnson with 1, and Lawson Lowe with 2 assists. Scott Burns ran all over the place and made the players around him a lot better. Wade Floyd held the midfield down with strong defense and good distribution. Josh Miller and Brett Bailey played finominal with great inside defense. Patrick McLemore, our 6'5 sophmore goalie played excellent. Thursday we play Sevier County and expect to be rolling into Spring Break. How are other teams doing?

Your right the score last year was 10-0. (First game of season). Aaron Doyle graduated along with many other seniors. We didnt loose anyone and are much improved with the addition of a new coach. Agreed on the refs. They wore jeans and said they didnt have to try because they were "scrimages." Why did they even show up?

Brandon Tarr is way over rated. I am older, but my Impact team played him and he never did anything. Why does everyone think he is so good?

I played in the Sweetwater Friendlies this past weekend. The refs were some of the worst I have seen. In my game against Sweetwater, one of the refs wore jeans. Against Soddy Daisy, I got blaitenly punched in the stomach right infront of the ref. In return, the ref yellow carded the other player and then the other player said I was "calling him names" so he yellow carded me too without hearing anything from me. In the final game against Notre Dame, I got carded for not backing off the ball "fast enough" after a foul. I was jogging back off the ball before the other team had even asked for it, and I received the card for "laughing as I did it." In response, the refs said the games were only scrimages. Does that mean they dont get paid? I dont think so.

There's a tourny this Saturday in Sweetwater. 40 Teams are participating. South-Doyle plays Notre Dame. This should be an exciting game especially after Notre Dame comes of playing Faragut and Bearden. Any other good game?

As of now, things are likely to change, Bearden, Faruagut, and South Doyle. South Doyle might shock a few teams this year.

First of all, there are no freshmen soccer teams. Second of all, i guarantee you have never seen their JV team play. They are just like all other JV teams- terrible. No JV team is good nor will be because they lack the priority the Varsity teams get. Watch them play and you will notice they are truly "junior varsity."

Wizards? Posters? Good language from a kid from Farragut. Good luck in your season, but yes, there will be bumps. I would atleast expect a large defeat from Bearden. They are loaded and you guys do not stand a chance. As for South Doyle, you did refuse to play as we are considered an "easy win." I hope it is the "easy win" you are expecting in the scrimage Tuesday.

I have heard Farragut is definately down this year with the loss of many key seniors. They lost to Notre Dame the other night either 3 or 4 to 1. They scrimage South Doyle Tuesday at 5:30 at Farragut. They better be ready to play as SD is up and coming. SD beat Webb the other night 3-1. Watch out for the upset. SD is going to be ready to play since Far. refused to play them in the regular season. The "State Champs" are too good to play them.
