Somebody needs to take those title town signs (when entering Greeneville) down. Greeneville isn’t title town and everybody knows it.

Agreed. Gville announcer has resorted to telling the NLCS score over the loud speaker because this game is so out of hand.

And like I said, those two Knoxville teams have more state titles in football alone than the little devils do all together. I’ve heard Greeneville fans were a little dumb but didn’t know they were actually dumb enough to try and call their city “title town” hahahahaha

Did I see someone call Greeneville “title town”?! bahahaha isn’t there a couple of teams in the Knoxville area that are about 4 miles apart from each other that have more State Titles in football than the devils have total?

I’m afraid Betsy will be whipping the Green Devils. That game won’t even be close IMO.

I think 3 scores is very possible. #24 looked that good. That coach should have to give every THS fan their money back for coming to the game tonight. Doesn’t deserve an extra 9000 on top of his salary. Where are all the devil fans at? I’d like to hear their honest opinion on tonight’s game.

I’m not a fan of either team. Just a fan of good football. Me and a friend went to this game tonight hoping for a good football game. It was a close football game but idk if I’d call it a good one. Both teams looked poorly coached (especially THS) and I was a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the game. Just don’t like watching ugly football. THS coaches should be fired for only letting #24 touch the ball 6 times. He scored on 3 of those touches. Kid is good. Offense should be set around that kid. Threw it to him maybe 2 more times. They give him more touches and I think they beat GHS.

Same way some people are from the state of Tennessee and cheer for Florida or Alabama.

So you have no idea I take it? Well I know for a fact 2 of those officials were Greene Devils.

Here is your break. Yes I am “from Greeneville”. Just because I am “from Greeneville” doesn’t mean I have to support or cheer for the satans. I was just stating the fact that one referee for sure went to GHS and his dad (who was the clock operator last night) is a GHS supporter and probably went to GHS as well. That’s not right to have them be officials of one of the biggest games of the year, whether it effected the game or not. I told one of my buddies, who played for GHS back in the early 2000’s, about who they picked as officials for the game and he didn’t believe me because he thought the same thing as I did. TSSAA needs to do better in that situation.

What a game this was! I am from Greeneville and made the trip to Elizabethton because I knew this one would be a good one. I have one complaint though. The TSSAA. Why in the world would they have a Greeneville High School graduate as a referee this game? Also had his dad (who is a known Greene Devil supporter and very well could’ve went to Gville himself) as a referee running the clock. Some of you may know who I’m talking about. I won’t name any names. I just think they need to look into picking their officials a little better/smarter. Still a great game though.
