He can be, and will occasionally revert to name calling, but he has good insight.

My preliminary thoughts, I have not really dug in to see what's in the hopper for each team.

East: DCA and who knows? Both MTCS and FCS lose a lot of ammo to graduation

Middle: NCS and COLA

West: TCA and JCS

I think MTCS was also out coached in that game as well. Just my opinion not that it matters lol

Did I mention we muffed 2 punts and a KO? That's how it goes sometimes. Even with all that, we held you to the 2nd lowest score of the season. Just hope you guys return the favor when you come to our place next year 

I will say this, when the chips were down and questions abound about what the Pirates were going to do? The answer was strong, "run the ball" and they did! Over and over, to the point that everyone in the stadium and across the state knew what was coming and there was no stopping it. It was 100 years of SP football in 12 minutes. (no I'm not a dyed in the wool Pirate,but maybe OP & RLH will give me a pass) Oh and.....MTCS COUGARS STATE CHAMPIONS DII- A!!! Only loss was to these Pirates, BUT our Mr. Football was out, our stating left tackle was out, our #2 RB was hobbled! You think I'm kidding but I'm not!

Ah yes, name calling. Always a sign of maturity. When the offense was installed two years ago, I was transported back in time, South Pittsburg ran it well into the 90s. I was not sure MTCS could master it.

Can't admit you underestimated MTCS. And when called out on your assessment / opinion, you chose not provide facts. Instead, you feigned insult. The first game was a precursor to the championship and was obvious for those who saw both. Game plan did not change, result was the same.

I had a busy afternoon and just getting back to this - there are some Ghosts of Pirates past that were smiling in that 4Q. Beene and Grider for sure, heck maybe even Biscuit broke a grin. Line it up, run it straight at you - play defense. Nothing fancy.

Cougars got theirs, Patriots get yours!  If you do, it will be the closest two champions have resided in state history. Runner up is DA & CPA in 2020 and 2018, but they are 6 miles apart versus the 3.3 miles between MTCS and Oakland.

Well folks that orange and black team running the SW won today and they did not have a P on the side of the helmet! Do good in the same time slot tomorrow. @rlh question (cause he knows stuff) - has SP won a championship where they had a victory over another division champion in that year? I know Maryville and Alcoa have done that stuff, but it seems rare.
