This would not really be a question if it was determined to be an away game from the beginning. Hillsboro contacted Beech to ask to come to Beech.... Then at last hour (after Friday's loss), they said they could not get transportation funding so Beech offered to pay for transport and give the 150 tickets ($). Hillsboro apparently wanted more $ than that and if Beech did not agree, it would be played at Overton. So this is about a last minute change and impact to what would have been Homecoming game for the students. Just difficult to understand why they asked to play at Beech to begin with and then changed mind at last minute.

Not sure why you say that. No fans, no family for motivation and this was supposed to be Homecoming. So not really a good thing for Beech.

Thoughts on decision to move game from Beech field Friday night? Hearing that this was plan but now Hillsboro wanted to move to neutral sight. Even after Beech offering to pay transportation and give 150 ticket proceeds to Hillsboro... Hillsboro cheated fans out of opportunity to see this game in person by wanting more $$. Now no $ and parents cannot see their kids play. For Metro, this was an opportunity to actually have some fans in attendance which is not the case in their metro locations. Sucks for players and parents.

Wow- the unsportsmanlike conduct from Powell. Embarrassing.

People need to know the facts. Reserved seating has been offered ALL SEASON -not just this game.
