  1. me either I do not think even Williams is dumb enough to play her this year- but according to her family on twitter THE WAIT IS OVER any colleges looking to recruit her can call her dad directly
  2. yes. that is exactly what happened. her mom was going to sign rights over to grandmother who lives in the city. court date was set for 2/5/2020. but once they actually read the tssaa handbook and realized it had to be court ordered they took another route. they have rented a house in the city limits to be zoned for Cleveland high. mind you these two schools are maybe 10 miles apart and she does not ride a bus to get to school.
  3. her playing this year is complete rumor- I guess we will all wait to see if it is true- but she is telling students at Cleveland she is playing this year the rest is fact she has moved addresses and pulled the guardianship #### off the table
  4. this makes me laugh... you had quite a bit of hatred at the last Bradley/Cleveland game.
  5. I used the word supposedly because that is hearsay- not fact. Sorry for not bold facing it for ya. Me saying I want front row seats to that circus is really just an expression- the facts are that she has now moved residence for eligibility and the guardianship ruling did not pass. All facts that can be checked at the Cleveland court house. I forget your generation gets their feelings hurt every time you aren't handed a participation trophy and will try my best to downplay the ignorance of this entire event. I will also try to use nice words here on out.
  6. Point guard from Bradley transferred to Cleveland (10 miles up the road) and is supposedly playing in district tournament. At one point her mother was to sign over parental rights but once it was learned that wouldn't work- since it was not a court ordered guardian change her family rented a house zoned for the city and moved residence. This is clearly for athletic reasons and not sure how it is allowed. Tony Williams has his hand behind this GUARANTEED. I want a front seat to that circus.
  7. With everything "official", the bearettes look to be playing their best basketball this season. And Cleveland loses to East Hamilton. Tournament time is coming up quick- what's your predictions?
  8. The only issue this kid has at home is that her parents are hot headed and made an irrational decision. They got mad at the coach because she was benched for the last three minutes of a game and her parents VOLUNTARILY signed over their parental rights to the grandmother for the sole purpose of being able to transfer and immediately play at the cross town rival school. No one is bashing the kid- this is all on the parents. And when they realized their plan was not going to work since it was not court ordered they asked for her to be put back on the team and was told no. Mind you this is after accusing the coach of being racist on social media. I can guarantee you that Coach Reuter cares for that girl like his own daughter- but you can not let just let this go and pretend nothing happened. The entire situation is sad.
  9. Because a TEAMMATE would never drop a team half way through the season. Anyone that has an "all about me" mentality is not good for a team- no matter how many points they are scoring. Basketball is a team sport. It is really hard to get down to your mentality level to explain things- so stop me if I'm going too fast for you.
  10. Looks like Cleveland has a make-up game with ooltewah scheduled for this week- so they would count as one of his two games of suspension. meaning he CAN coach East Hamilton. Still could lose, but it will be under his command.
  11. Suspended for two games. Next two games on the schedule are Soddy Daisy and East Hamilton.
  12. Coach of the year does it again last night- I must say the Lord works different through you than everyone else. I will pay admission to not see you on the sidelines at East Hamilton!!!
  13. Hey two thumbs?? How do you like your crow??
  14. What rumor?? Did she wear black and gold tonight? She is not and will not be a Bearette this season. Facts: she did unenroll at Bradley. And then once she found out she was ineligible at Cleveland she reenrolled and asked for her position back. She was told no. Whatever happens next season is unknown but this year it will be the girls you saw on the floor tonight. And no it isn’t funny. It is what it is. You don’t walk away from a team.
  15. I like the way you think!!! I think that she is still enrolled at Bradley but is no longer on the team.
  16. Again, the bearettes won a state championship without Howard. Proof again- one player dont make or break a team,
  17. A lot of true facts in this statement- but i do think the bearettes will make it back to the glass house this year.
  18. did you see the word PERCEIVED in quotations. Take a break from stupidity and educate yourself.
  19. Is it rational to pull a kid from a team the second something does not go their way? The last thing this team needs is any more negativity.
  20. IF he does allow her back on the team, one stipulation should be that her parents are not allowed at any game. and if they walk in the gym- she has to sit the bench.
  21. Pretty sure this is the case here too. From what I understand she is ineligible- and has asked to return to Bradley.
  22. You think these selfish parents moved her to Cleveland without talking to the coach first? She was promised something!! If she is eligible, she will play.
  23. What part of this particular situation was not court ordered? Her mother physically went to the court house and voluntarily signed over her rights so they would have a legitimate reason to move schools and she would be eligible to play. Even under her grandmothers custody she could go to Bradley if she wanted. This is not a case where the court took custody away for the well being of the child. you are the most ignorant person to continue back lash on something you know absolutely NOTHING about. The girl wants to play at Bradley. I am sure her team would love to have her back. Her parents are responsible for this decision. If she was in an unsafe home and her world had been turned upside down her sister would have also been placed outside of the home. This is nothing more than entitled, jealous parents who thinks their daughter should play the entire game and have all the glory of every win and the second things didnt go their way they uprooted her from her team and caused a lot of hurt for their daughter, her team and coaches, and a community. You need to get your facts straight and move on. Go back to your mammas basement and play fortnight. And stop turning everyones words into hate and misconceptions. In order for her to be immediately eligible it would have to be court ordered and it is not meaning- SHE WILL SIT THE BENCH AT CLEVELAND FOR A YEAR. Go back to third grade math.
