  1. Fascinating discussions about Friday going on this week in the shop… Just fascinating.
  2. Pujo already crying and the coal ain’t even warm in the furnace yet.
  3. Dude is a total asshat, but he is the one that has the drive to put all the diamond clear games on the service. I applaud him.
  4. We get it. Fact is, that no one from Region1 will be playing in the second week of the playoffs. Enjoy your 2023 Region 1 champions t-shirt from Walmart…if the Pats don’t choke it away.
  5. But that ain’t fair to the keeeeeds!!!!! Sncrly, Gary Rankin
  6. Govs are still undefeated at home and with Murvul on the road, we should have KC’s “A” team in the stripes. I like Which Blue in a close one. Discuss.
  7. Olivet’s dad got a haircut yesterday, so the KARMA is still undefeated.
  8. Honestly, my man, you can GTH. There is no team head and shoulders above anyone else in the region. It’s anyone’s title at this point. WB can score points with anyone… plenty left to play for. Go Govs. Amen.
  9. Back when WB opened up in 1979, only three teams competed for the District Championship. WB, Farragut and Oak Ridge. The likes of Campbell Co, Karns and Lenoir City etc. would not play Oak Ridge and therefore excluded themselves from the playoffs. In 1982, week 9, Meathead ran for about 400 yards on the Admirals, setting up a week 10 showdown between the 5-4 Govs and the Wildcats for the championship and back then only one team went to the playoffs. It was a good game for a while, but Oak Ridge came out with a 28-0 win at Blankenship. That was the high point of WB football for a long time, but I still remember like it was yesterday.
  10. He types #### into his phone so much, that it is now the default autocorrect.
  11. Didn’t say that. But they will have a puncher’s chance in all of them. They can score points.
  12. This is kinda where the rubber meets the road for this WB team. All of the game left on their schedule except for Jeff Co. are winnable games. I include DB in that because they have to come to Alnwick and strange things can happen there and at times, have happened.
  13. They have already done a good job of that. They are still buying as we type.
  14. West Murvillians and their uppity Rang doorbells… Stars and I here on the East Side don’t have such luxuries. We still rely on our old soup hounds. You think I’m joking, but I’m not.
  15. Eagleton gets their first win Friday.
  16. If Cupp hadn’t wrecked his truck, the bell in the city wouldn’t be a topic.
