This week's game is a big one for the Cats as they travel to Celina, TN to take on the Bulldogs in a game for 2nd place in the region...

Very well said! Monterey had the chance to tie or win in the last minute or 2 in this game. Bledsoe is definitely in the upper echelon in 2A but MHS isn't a slouch either! Congrats by the way on your Purple Tigers!

It should be a great game if both teams play like they've been playing! I'll take Monterey winning with a field goal 17-16...

We were able to broadcast the MHS vs Harriman game. Monterey has only 3 starting seniors and is a very young team. They have a huge junior and sophomore class and we all know that most of the time a young team is on an emotional roller coaster. They had an overall good game against Harriman but there were times where their youth came to the surface. If they mature like we at Monterey hope they do, both Clay & Gordy will be good games. We'll have to see what happens throughout the rest of the year.

This game really surprised me! I thought it would be much closer. Our team is very young only 3 senior starters...very surprising!

Hello SportsnetWriter2. Harriman has looked good in all 3 games they've played for sure! Our Wildcats are very young this year with only 3 starting seniors and last week was the first time this year they have had any kind of physical contact with another team. I've been at several practices and of course the game last week with Red Boiling and the team as a whole is a work in progress. I'm anxious to see how they stack up against a quality opponent like the Blue Devils! I think the game will be very close 2-3 point swing in either direction, however since my blood is "purple & white" I'm going with my Cats... MHS - 26 HHS - 24

The Cats have been quarantined for the 1st 2 games with Sale Creek & Lookout Valley. One of the kids tested positive for the virus...

I live in Putnam County and just received notification that all Monterey High School activities were cancelled until 4-1-20. I think these activities are pretty much exaggerated!

I hope that happens in 2020...lol

On the bracket page, it says it automatically refreshes every 60 secs....
