  1. So its official, the wiil be Substate games between Region 7&8?
  2. Is it set that Region 7&8 will not have a substate game this season?
  3. If UC and GC do those things we will be in a collision course for a Regional Championship Game
  4. You are exactly right Greenfield vs Gleason will be a big game on Tuesday night. They will have to beat Dresden first who has played better basketball as the season has progressed. Dresden play Greenfield extremely close at Greenfield the last time. Bradford played UC to 5 points the last time as well. You have to show up every night in the 13A tourney
  5. Definitely, just want to be playing our best ball when it matters the most. Hopefully we can get another shot at that great McKenzie team which would mean we made it to the State Tourney. Good luck to y’all going forward.
  6. 13A girls is going to be exciting. Union City is finally rounding into form, playing well, and getting healthy. Home court and only playing back to back will be huge for them. I give them the nod to win the district. The defense has become suffocating, and that with Williams and Bonds will be enough to get the job done this season. I can see them making it to the State Tourney.
  7. 13A is playing boys and girls 3 straight days Mon-Wed
  8. Is it definite that Memphis is out? They just went back to school last week.
  9. It really doesn't look like there will be a chance to get any West TN district tourney games in this week, maybe Saturday. Any chance they push the entire postseason tournament back a week?
  10. Yeah they did the coin flip on Wed. So we will play at home for district tourney. Gonna be some battles this year
  11. Foul trouble has followed her in most games. She has been able to play well with foul trouble. UC won the District and will be ready. UC should have won every game in the district, but they are still getting better with each game. This should be an interesting tourney. GC would rather play Greenfield than UC. UC will poise the most difficulty for GC in the region, GC will have to play and beat at least 2 of these 3 teams to win the region.
  12. Union City, Greenfield, or Gleason will all have a possible chance to play GC. We will see where they stack up. Of the 3 teams, Union City plays the best defense and has a player with enough size and athleticism to guard Hart. Hopefully we get a chance to see it on the court. The Union City guards put pressure on the ball and do a great job of creating turnovers all over the floor. Either of these teams can be a challenge for Gibson Co. Just my thoughts. Excited to see tourney time here.
  13. Big win for UC over Gleason tonight 45-39. With a win over LC Thursday, coin flip with Greenfield for the 1 seed in the district tourney.
  14. There certain things that aren’t and should be messed with. In know way am I for a guy playing sports against girls. Your physical make us provides a unfair advantage. The playing field has to be equal. As a race we have played on and unequal playing field since slavery was abolished. If a guy wants to turn into a girl on the exterior that’s his decision. However, he should still have to compete with against what God gave him on the interior. Just my thoughts.
  15. This is just a start: Close the racial wealth gap (The racial wealth gap is driven by structural barriers) Eliminate inequities in public school quality (Public school funding relies heavily on local property taxes. S0 where your school is determines the amount of funding your school receives) Close employment and earnings gaps (Inequities in employment and earnings reflect a host of structural disadvantages and discriminatory practices, including racial discrimination in hiring, the decline of unions and worker protections, all lead to the next point. End the punitive policing against minorities (Race-coded criminalization has resulted in sobering disparities at every stage of the criminal justice system: law enforcement, prosecution, defense, courts, and corrections all result in minority mass incarcerations)
