Teams will be staying the night before most likely anyways, so what is the issue moving the first round to 10:30? This allows the additional round with the same exit time. I bet round 1 conso matches will not occur to protect their kids from injuries. As a former wrestler, I’d love to compete in that round, but I doubt these will occur.

I’d hope so, but based on the schedule and times, there is not room for the conso semis as the finals and third place and championship finals happen right after the champ semis

Champ - R1 Cleveland Summit Science Hill Wilson Central Semis Cleveland Wilson Central Finals Cleveland Conso Round 1 DB Bradley Third Place (they do not have conso semis on the schedule so whoever made the semis will place 3rd and 4th from my understanding 3rd Summit 4th Science Hill

Correct, but if you lose in the first round, it looks like you only get one more match and you cannot place.

There is not a conso bracket. How I am reading this, you can only make it to the third place match if you make it to the semi-finals. Am I wrong on how I am reading the bracket?

PF has lost to both Bradley and Heritage. Based on these two results (two of the top 5 AAA dual teams), I’m not sure they would have placed. Fairview beat Summit but lost to Oakland, so they could have made some noise depending on the match-ups. Signal Mountain did not wrestle any AAA teams, other than Cleveland, so I am not sure how much noise they could have made.

Yep. I was asking who would you seed 1-8! This looks like how I’d seed them as well. If Heritage was able to be in this tourney, I’d have them at five.

How would you seed the final 8?

Will they do a #2 in the region vs. #1 in the region automatically as 2 #1’s did not make the tourney or will they just seed the returning team medalist and do a random draw for the rest of the slots? This year is so different than pasts, has it been communicated to do one or the other?

DB pinned the last match to beat halls 39-30.

Arlington is in the finals against Collierville

Halls beat Anderson County 59-22. DB will wrestle Halls and Science Hill will wrestle Anderson County

Halls beat Karns. Halls will wrestle Anderson County for the Region 2 finals.

Anderson County beat Seymour 48-30
