I didn’t shirt change Blackman at all. I know they r very good and very athletic. I’m just saying if Addie Porter has 15 in the first quarter and the devilettes hit 5 threes it’s tough for any team to play with People gave them a 0% chance to win it. A 0% chance to beat Bradley. Then still got picked to lose against Hardin. It wouldn’t surprise me if they do it once more.

She plays hard. That first quarter performance from her yesterday was one of the best single quarter performances I’ve ever seen. She couldn’t miss If lebanon comes out hot like that again it’ll be tough for Blackman to come back. Barrett’s coaching and how hard Leb plays D makes it difficult for any team to come back from a deficit. We’ve seen it happen for weeks now

Idk man Lebanon may surprise you

They were better last year in my opinion but you may be right. They were slower defensively but they had multiple girls who could shoot the lights out. They had a girl come off the bench and hit 6 threes in the first half alone in one of the games I went too. If Lebanon loses today I think it will be because of shooting

For sure lol girls were airballing free throws, taking 5 second violations to inbound the ball and dribbling the ball around doing nothing for half the game. Absolutely. This will be his second State Championship appearance, first at Lebanon. He won a state and national championship with that very good Riverdale team. If last year had not have ended because of Covid this could have been his 3rd and 2nd straight.

Well he’s not in Barrett’s head which seems to be the only one that’s mattered the past 2 years

Yes haha the winner would have played Blackman in the region semis who was nationally ranked #1 at the time. Both Smyrna and Riverdale tried to avoid them to hopefully make it to the state tourney. Good idea but absolutely awful execution.

Lebanon was known for not being very good for awhile but in Barrett’s second year he wins the region and takes them to substate. The next three years after that they have made it to the state tourney. This is his 5th year at Lebanon and he completely turned this program around. Definitely one of the best coaches in the state. The girls love him.

I said I haven’t seen them play but I would think her stats, resume and team record could be just as good if not better. Without her this Lebanon team doesn’t even win their district more or less make it to the ship.

I’m not saying she should have won. But I think she’s proved enough to be nominated. What did the girls do who were nominated I haven’t looked at it

33 blew a fast break layup up 4. porter then got the rebound and blew it as well with under 2 minutes left. I was very impressed with both teams defense in the first half. Pretty sure Lebanon only allowed Bradley to score 2 points in the second quarter.

Told y’all they were top 4. Addie porter doesn’t get enough recognition. Averages 17 points 7.5 reb 5 assists and 3 steals a game. And she refuses to ever come out. She now has 3 state tournament and 2 semifinal appearances to her resume. And that was a clutch fricken shot
