Boyette’s is a must stop and eat for anyone coming from out of town. They have some of the best catfish in town.

Not giving up on anyone including Gleason. I understand anything can happen at any given time. But I am also a realist and see that Peabody is in a different class than any other team in 7A.

Oh I hope y’all win it no doubt. It’s fair as considering the TSSAA. I was stating that Peabody is head and shoulders above everyone else right now in this region.

Congratulations WC on the win and advancing to the 3rd round. WC shouldnt be made to play this game and risk injury and just start preparing for the 3rd round

Doesn’t matter who’s in region 7A. Everyone else outside of Peabody is playing for 2nd place. It’s almost not far to have Peabody move down as dominate they have been in a tougher classification. Congratulations on region 7A champs Peabody. Peabody should be favorite to win the state next couple years or as long as they are in 1A.

How is this a fair punishment. Shelbyville was going to playoffs as a #2 seed and FC was not and actually initiated the fight that led to the brawl. These punishments are not the same for both teams as FC could care less about a playoff ban considering they wasn’t going this year and possibly next year to. While Shelbyville is in contention for the region next year also.

You are correct. Not sure greenfield was a top 5 team but they was ranked there and had a chance to prove themselves and everyone else that they belonged and they failed to do that tonight. WC was simply the better team and maybe Greenfield will get another chance to play WC in playoffs. Best of luck to both team going forward.

I wanted to come back and congratulate WC on a fantastic game and best of luck for your team, school and fans on rest of the season. Y’all was the better team from start to finish and y’all deserve to win and go deep into the playoffs. After the results of this game I think it will be WC or Lake County representing the west. Greenfield had a great team this and congrats on the season y’all have. Y’all should be proud of the accomplishments and finish out the season strong.

Maybe y’all will keep a 2 and 3A out of region schedule because that’s about the only time y’all will be tested through out the season.

As long as COVID doesn’t get involved I see Trenton as the team to beat in ALL of 1A next couple years. Trenton could prolly win the region by playing there JV team

Don’t say no chance if COVID-19 is still playing next year. As long as Team Covid is playing only thing for sure is Covid hasn’t lost yet.

Believe it or not I actually root for LC anytime they don’t play greenfield. And if not Greenfield I hope it’s LC representing 7A at state. Good luck to LC and Greenfield and maybe we will all get to see a round 3 matchup.

And Greenfield will always be that way. It doesn’t matter who they have coaching they just don’t have the talent pool or the area to have good athletes every year. Every few years greenfield has a few good classes to great teams in athletics. Will greenfield ever replicate this again prolly not and if they do prolly will be another 10 years. Will they replicate woman’s basketball again? Most likely not. We seen the greatest Girls BB team in history and prior to that girls basketball wasn’t that great historically. LC plays in a bigger towns and is surrounded by more people and athletes. Yes lake county and greenfield are similar in size in football team but the schools are most definitely different with the type of kids each school has access to.

I actually agree with you about LC and Huntingdon. But Huntingdon isn’t that small of a 1A school. They are actually big for a 1A school hence the reason why they moving to 2A. Lake County are champs till they ain’t. And greenfield should be privileged to be even announced in the same sentence as either one of them teams. Will greenfield be this good next year prolly not. Are they an average team playing above there talent level, most likely. And soon it will all be over with. And for next couple years Greenfield, LC and WC won’t matter with Trenton dropping down. I can see Trenton winning 4 championship in a row now. Trenton was already a powerhouse and now dropping them down almost ensure there ticket to 15-0.

I do find it crazy that Trenton moving down. They will be a big 1A school for sure.

But LC is state champs till they are not. Y’all have earned that and deserve to be addressed as such till someone knocks you off. And LC is the last champion and maybe they will get there chance to defend it if they make it back to title game.

But you fail to mention the time times that LC was getting mercy ruled by greenfield before the mercy rule was applied. Remember when LC went 0-10 and 1-9 following year in the early 2000. So don’t act like LC has been this ultimate power house when in fact it goes in cycle and Lake County has been at the worse of the worse.

You are right. Westview is a very good team and not only would they mercy rule every one in 7A and there are AA teams they would mercy rule also. Congrats on LC for scheduling them and it only made y’all a better team playing against better teams. But with McKenzie and Trenton moving down it doesn’t matter what team out of region 7A returns next year they will not beat Trenton for next 4 years. Trenton may very well mercy rule everyone next year.

I stand corrected. I was talking about Weat Carrol losing to Fayett Academy. I got my teams mixed up. My bad I was wrong I apologize.

Wanna talk about strength of schedule but didn’t LC lose to Fayette Academy that has only won 2 games. I also know after Puckett left halls offense took a BIG step back and defense is not as good. I will agree with you and say LC is a very good team and can’t be taken lightly and could beat anyone they face except for Fayett Academy. And best of luck to all the teams that are still playing and going o the playoffs. We are in a time of the year now where all the teams in playoffs are good and you when tk play mistake free football to win. LC, Dresden, Greenfield and WC Are all capable teams of beating anyone any given night and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
