It's hilarious watching people get so pressed over another man's opinion of a high school football game. I felt like Henry County was the better team coming in and still do. We correct the mistakes of giving up the big plays and this is pretty much a blowout win for the Patriots. Hopefully we get that opportunity to show just that in the playoffs...till then....46-45....

Beech has definitely found something offensively. They are going to be a TOUGH come playoff time! But I have to say for this Henry County team to convert that 4th and 20 and connect on the 35 yard field goal at the end was absolutely incredible. 17-3 advantage over the Bucs in the 4th quarter. Way to dig down and find a way Pats! Huge win!

If Beech beats Henry County by what you originally predicted, then Beech should be 5A champs by the end of the season. I just don't feel like anybody is beating Henry County this season by more than 7.

With all due respect Beech won't score over 14. The Henry County defense has been solid all year! The key is going to be if Beech can stop Henry County's offense.

What do yall think about this one? I feel HC is the better team and comes in a clear favorite, but Beech is no slouch, has homefield advantage, and is coming off a bye. HC has also been pretty sloppy the last couple of weeks despite lopsided victories. They might need a good hit in the mouth at this point of the season.  

Well figured I'd show up and throw my 2 cents in. Henry County had a sloppy game against Portland and still dominated the game. I put some of the sloppiness on us playing down to the level of our competition in that game (which is what we didn't want to do) but either way we won the game. Obviously we can't have that type of performance against Beech. I expect Beech to be a tough game like always. Just don't see us losing 4 straight to Beech. Henry County finds a way and get the W! Big Red Rolls!

What's the early thoughts on the team this season? I know we have some good players coming back. Lost a lot of key pieces on offense and defense. Both lines lost a few good players as well. 

Henry County lost a LOT of key pieces. We have several good players coming back but will be somewhat of a rebuilding year in my opinion. Still should have a good solid season. 

Huge news coming today. Henry County QB Ryan Damron has committed to the University of Tennessee as a preferred walk on. Congratulations Ryan!!! All of Henry County is proud of you my man!!!

I just where Haywood is getting Oakland at home in 2023. Is this true? If so very interesting!

Same, holes everywhere we have to fill as well. I think Beech is in the same boat as well. Will be an interesting season. I have no idea what to expect from our team this coming season and I can't remember the last time I could say that.

I just looked on there and it's showing the non region games being Brighton, Riverdale, Brentwood, Ridgeway, and Northeast. If that's right sounds like a fun schedule.

I agree. Going to be a very tough region. Counce will schedule a tough non region schedule which makes me think we could start having a few loses on our record especially with the tough region schedule now too.

Yeah that's what I was wondering, I know we'll need some good linemen on both sides for sure. Will have a very different feel next year without the seniors from this year. I'm assuming Caden takes over at QB?

How did Grove do this year? I didn't get to keep up with their season. 

Tough loss to Page but we have to look towards next season. I'm just not sure what next year's team will look like. We have some good players returning but a lot of holes to fill. I'd like to hear what anybody else has to say about next year's Patriots.

Not that any of this really matters now but it's kind of interesting to me. Henry County loses 3 games this season by a combined 10 total points. They lost to two teams that are playing for a 5A and 6A State Championship. Good season Patriots. Can't hang our head at all!
