Man, idk. Yeah we should have beaten Brentwood after having that lead, probably should have beaten Springfield and Tilghman. I'm not super upset with the Beech loss. Beech is Beech. Mad respect for them. So yeah I can see a possible 8-2. Let's just hope with all the craziness that has went on this season that starting tonight we can show that we are better than a 5-5 team.

We have lost to a 6A title contender in Summit, lost by 10 to another 6A team in Beech, we was up 14-0 at the half on 6A Brentwood before losing to them by 7. Lost by 3 to a legit threat to make it to the 5A title game in Springfield, and finally lost to an extremely athletic team by 14 at their place in Paducah Tilghman. My point is we have played some really stout competition. A lot of people may be fooled by this 5-5 record and for our sake I hope they do overlook us. We made the necessary changes going into our 9th game of the season against Clarksville NE, and have put up 100 points of offense the last 2 weeks. All I'm saying is if this offense continues improving, we may be hitting our stride at the exact right moment.

I love this shii...two teams that really hate each other. Some may call it a rivalry some say DC has to beat HC more than that one time for it to be any type of rivalry. Either way you look at it, the talking comes to an end tonight at 7:00. In this game, hits will be harder, tempers may even flare, but I can guarantee this is gonna be a show! Strap those helmets on tight tonight boys, we are on a D@MN mission in this game!!!!!! BELIEVE THAT!! GO BIG RED!!!!!!

I was surprised how bad it was last week against Portland. That's really just unfortunately how it works in any type of sport though. When a team is successful and winning usually the attendance is up, when a team struggles the attendance suffers. I hate that it will probably be a subpar crowd Friday night against Dyer County because we at Henry County are better than that. We usually always talk about how pitiful the away crowds are at Patriot Stadium.

My thoughts exactly. Funny the very week we made changes the offense has been explosive ever since. Let's keep it rolling!!!!

Henry County - 48 Dyer County - 14

All I care about is let's survive and advance. This time of year it doesn't have to be pretty! I could care less if we win by 1 point or 50 points. We just got to focus and win! I'm sure Dyer County is solid. I know they have a pretty good RB, outside of that I'm not sure what they have. They lost Josh Stewart to graduation so not sure how their QB situation looks like. They seem to be scoring pretty well against their competition overall. Their defense has given up over 50 points in 3 games, while their offense has put up 40 or more points in 5 games this year. Henry County's defense has posted 3 shutouts this season, while the offense has scored over 40 points in 4 games. This game has potential to be high scoring in my opinion and I believe both teams will be ready for a battle. Should be an electric playoff atmosphere Friday night at Patriot Stadium!!

Yeah I couldn't believe they gave up that many but apparently so. I really think y'all roll by as much as you want. Y'all's defense is good enough to keep them held down too.

Two old region rivals are set to meet again, this time in the first round of the TSSAA 5A State Playoffs. Dyer County will travel to Patriot Stadium to take on the Henry County Patriots. The last time they met in the playoffs (2019) the Choctaws went to Patriot Stadium and they shocked the world and beat Henry County. This year the Dyer County Choctaws are 6-3 on the season and averaging 39.3 points per game on offense. Their defense is allowing 27.5 points per game. The Henry County Patriots are currently 5-5 on the season and averaging 25.9 points per game. Defensively the Patriots are giving up 18 points per game. Region 7 meets Region 8, there is no tomorrow, it's win or go home! What's your thoughts on this matchup?

Y'all have 5 games scoring 34 or more points lol. Brighton has given up 74, 58, 57, 44, 61 this year in 5 of their games.

Y'all should be able to score pretty good. Brighton gives up a LOT of points.
