Well my CoachT family, it has been a great run. I have been on the T since 07. I finally have my last son through football and tonight was his last game.. it has been more than I could have asked for getting to meet and talk with many of you over the years. The banter and back and forth was the high light of my day during the seasons. Championships and the agony of defeat we have all shared in. I made myself a promise that when my last boy was done with this game we all love that I also would be done on the T . So with that I say so long fellow posters. Someone else will have to pick up and move forward with my Tornadoes. Goodbye everybody. Good luck andgood times. Quote

UC finished the regular season last night with a loss to a very good Huntingdon team. I saw a huge bright spot in the second half with our original starting QB back under center. I believe that much is a greater threat in the playoffs. Fairley will be a challenge to take down with all of the athletes they bring to field. However, I think we have a better chance now than before. What say you?

We were wondering the same thing. Number 12 is our actual starting QB .Tonight was the first time he has been under center since before the Gibson Country game. I thought he did pretty good for being off so long.

I have been wondering about that myself. Like UC77 said, we played on a Camden field that didn’t drain well at all and water was standing everywhere. We handled the ball pretty well during that situation. I’m certain the Stang’s field will drain just fine so it will be holding on to the wet ball. Also, slippery field could prove problematic for both teams. Penalties and turnovers will be huge.

Dang! I didn’t know this was gonna be a fan slapping thread. I would rather talk about the game. If I’m being honest, I believe that Huntington has the upper hand. But like what some other posters have said about the Stangs not being the same team they were a few weeks ago, the same can also be said about my Tornadoes. Y’all beat a very good Peabody team very convincingly and that says a lot. However, UC is well aware of who they are playing and the task that is before them. We will come to play and play hard for 4 quarters. The question I pose is; Do the Stangs know who they are playing?

Well guys, this is a great tradition between these two teams. The most memorable to me is the 2009 when the Stangs beat my Tornadoes at our house in the regular season and then we returned the favor in the playoffs. After that we won our first State Title. I expect a great hard fought game with ground and pound football from both teams. Turnovers and penalties will play a huge role.
