Exactly. We have lost 2 of our senior linemen out and the season so far this year. A competitive injury free game would be great

Pay no attention to Shocker. He is still butt hurt over LC losing to my Tornadoes in the first game of the season. We are better now than we were then. How much better will be answered Friday night. We will see.

Yeah that’s what everyone in the state is expecting. It may very well happen. However, I’m expecting our guys to come out and fight like the warriors they are. They will not give up and roll over. Honestly, I’m expecting out guys to control the clock and keep things closer than a lot of people are expecting.

I really liked what I saw last night out of our guys. I believe we turned the corner on some things like turnovers and stupid penalties. We are going to need another outstanding effort this week when facing the Chargers. It’s no secret about who we are and what we do. It’s not flashy or spectacular. It’s line up and bust you in your mouth football. We can not get behind the sticks or give up easy scores. We must match score for score. Grind the clock, hold on to the ball and lay the lumber on defense. One thing for sure is, our guys won’t quit. You can count on that.

Ripley Tomatoes just doesn’t have the same bang as the Ripley Tigers. Still funny though

UC will have to do a much better job of holding on to the ball and stop committing silly uncalled for penalties. I believe we can play with Ripley but we can’t hurt ourselves.

Okay guys, UC is coming off of a hard fought win that actually should have been won going away. Ripley is coming off of a loss to 4A Powerhouse Covington in which the Tigers held the Chargers to a season low 30 some odd points. Ripley scored 20 in this game. If my Tornadoes want to be competitive they are going to have to clean up some penalties and silly mistakes. This is our first real test since USJ. We need to be focused and on point. What say you?

Dude it wasn’t our best game. We were missing our QB1 and our leading ball carrier. Add to that some very untimely stupid penalties and we allowed GC to hang around. We are going to have to fix some things if we are going to compete in our next 3 games. It was ugly but our defense kept us in the game.
